Our home AC in Fresno went out about 9:00 pm on SUNDAY evening, Aug 21, 2016 (it was still about 86 degrees outside). I called ABC Cooling's Fresno number (they installed the unit in 2009) that evening and Vanessa answered the phone. She was very polite and professional. She noted that our unit was still under parts warrenty and that a tech could be at our home Monday morning between 8:00 am and noon. Chad S arrived about 9:50 am and diagnosed the problem in about 15 minutes. An electrical component had ""died"", he had one in the truck, and the AC was back up and running by 10:30 am. We have had an annual HVAC maintenance agreement with ABC Cooling since the unit was installed and one of the main reasons is their excellent customer service.

We had our entire system redone. Unit, ducting, installation, everything. Without a doubt the easiest people to work with, kindest people to ask questions, and every dollar that we spent was well worth the out come. We went from losing 22% of the air made to less than 2%. ABC has great techs and installers!

Very dissatisfied with the situation. I contacted ABC late yesterday evening due to an inop heater. At first I was very happy to know they would be able to send someone out next day. I found it odd they required a credit card be placed on file in order to make an appt, but I overlook this since they were giving me next-day service. Technician showed today as promised, advised me it was a sensor, sent me a written work order stating bad senor and recommending to replace it for $202. Agreed to the cost and diagnostic fee. Calls back tells me back states although the sensor is in fact bad, I also need to replace the board and the cost is now over $600. This is outrageous! I am definitely convinced the other reviews are not real customers. Lesson learned as I fell for the fake reviews and contacted ABC. Save yourself the headache and find another company.

We had a whole house energy retrofit including a cool roof completed in July of this year. We were so happy with the crew that helped us bring our 55 year old house into the 21st century. Every member of their team, office staff, plumbing, installers, etc. were helpful, friendly, efficient and knowledgable. Within one week the work was complete and we were enjoying a comfortable, cool home. The 1st month our PG&E usage dropped one third, the 2nd month our usage was half of the previous August. Now the cold weather is here we are snug and warm and again using much less energy. I have recommended this company to several friends. Thank you again ABC.

These guys are awesome they genuinely care about what they do for a living and take it very seriously. From beginning to end they have been friendly, kind and compassionate. The entire staff does its best to provide the best customer service possible. The only other business that come close to them are AAA and EECU. Enough said.

YIKES!!!! Last night the dreaded AC going out in the middle of summer situation happened to me. This is not the first time, but I always hope it's the last. Having a kid in the house with list of medical problems that would probably impress even television's infamous Dr. House, I knew that it was imperative to get it fixed asap. So back to the trusted ole yelp app I went last night, scrolling through review after review. After not getting much input from the wife I decided on ABC Cooling and Heating. In short, I don't think I'll be using this company again. I called them first thing this morning at 0800 as to not cause any delays (Wishful thinking on my part). Although it was great that I was able to get a same day appointment it took me 3-4 calls just to make sure someone even showed up. I was booked a time slot between 1400-1800 for a tech to come out and was also reassured that I would get a call with a better ETA once 1400 came around. 1405, and no call. I decided to be proactive and call the dispathcher. The gal assured me that I was next on the tech's "" List"" and he would be there shortly. 1800 rolls around and no one shows up. Okay maybe he's late? 1815 now, and I sweating like I'm in a Suana. I called back and the dispatcher says let me find out what's going on. I'm beyond irritated at this point. She further reassures me that I can escalate my conerns to the person that would be coming to my house; it was not going to be a tech but it would be the general manager. After we hang up she calls me back again and apologizes saying that my appointment was booked wrong. Apparently it was suppose to be booked for a tech not general manger. Go figure! SO EVERYONE OUT THERE PLEASE BEWARE!!!

I had an Energy Audit from ABC and was told the State Rebate would be between $4,500 and $6,500 if we had 3 types of work done totaling $27,000 worth of services with ABC. We agreed to the sales pitch and had the work completed. The actual rebate was $2,000. MUCH less than the stated amount. The rebate was overstated, the sales pitch was not accurate. My experience was with a high pressure sales person and no follow up from anyone in the office when we expressed our displeasure.

So I bought a new Centex house 2 1/2 years ago (not a builder I recommend by the way) and last night in the middle of June my air conditioner makes a frightful noise and goes out. As I panic because I find out I am six months over my warranty I have to start hunting down a company to come out and this is like finding a needle in a haystack because there are so many. I come across ABC and see it has the highest reviews so I give it a shot. They were extremely helpful, understanding of my panic and responsive the way customer service should be. They were able to send a tech out to my house the same day (he was there within the hour!) and he was also very pleasant, informative and kept the price as reasonable as he could. An air conditioner breaking in the summer in Fresno is a serious stressful event and ABC made the entire issue so much less stressful and I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the reasonable price and very quick service. They are well worth their good rating!

Great experience. Received a courtesy call from the office prior to technician's arrival, and he arrived exactly on time (in fact, several minutes early). He was knowledgeable and courteous. He figured it was a dead capacitor by the sound from inside the house when the unit was turned on, and upon direct inspection the diagnosis was correct. The capacitor was replaced and coolness was restored. I will call on this company again in the future.
