Perry C.All Trade was the company that installed the A/C in my new home. We had a warranty with them for 1 year after buying the home. They came by twice and inspected the system because I called and complained that there was a moldy smell coming from the A/C. Both of their techs said everything was perfect and there was nothing to repair. I had my house inspected and old tested. Both of those inspectors found that the A/C has holes, was leaking air into the attic and my condensation pipe looked like someone had a vat of play-do all over it. They also stated that it was leaking onto my Attic. How do 2 separate inspectors find the issue, but 2 service techs overlook it. I can only imagine that they were waiting for the warranty to end, come back and state that I needed a new A/C. Stay away from them at all costs!!
Moved into a new construction home in Nov '18 where All Trade(ATC) did the install. Didn't really use the AC much until May '19 when it got into the '90's. The first real hot day & my AC goes out. A brand new house with a brand new unit...doesn't work!! ATC came out the next day (which was great). Said the breaker tripped & he didn't see anything wrong with the system & leaves. Six hours later the breaker trips again.. AC not working. It's after hours & the FRIDAY before Memorial weekend. I called the after hours # & was told I'd have to wait til TUESDAY! because they didn't consider it an emergency because our upstairs unit was working & because we can keep tripping the breaker (which they didn't recommend) then we should be able to wait. Mind you, it got up to near 100 those 4 days & we had company coming for the weekend. I asked to speak to a mgr or owner & the same person called back & said there's nothing they can do, I'd have to wait til Tues. No mgr would take the time to speak with me & no one was coming to make a repair til Tuesday. I was also told it probably wouldn't be fixed on Tues because they have to evaluate the system & see what's wrong. This was acceptable in their eyes.
Tues morning, since I had not heard from anyone from ATC, I called to find out when someone was coming to 'evaluate' & was told a tech would arrive between 12-5pm. At 4:55, I still had not seen or heard from a tech so I called ATC before they closed to find out if indeed a tech was still coming & was assured he was. He finally showed at 5:30. He assessed the system & told us it was the compressor & he'd have to file his report & someone would call us with the installation date. Wednesday morning WE called AGAIN to find out what was going to be done & were told that a tech would be out Thursday between 8am-12pm to replace the TXV valve even though their technician said it was the compressor. At this point, we don't know what's happening & sadly I don't think they do either.
Thurs morning.. I waited & waited. Appt time was 8-12. No show. No call. I had to call (AGAIN) at 12:15 to let them know that their tech had not shown up in the time frame given & I was told he was en route. 1PM Still no tech and no call from ATC. Had to call their office (AGAIN) to inform them tech is a no show. They don't know why he hadn't arrived & did not offer to contact him to give me an ETA. 1:15 he finally shows. He's a super nice guy but I told him that his office needs to do a better job communicating with customers. Especially ones that are on the schedule & have taken off work & desperately waiting for someone to repair their AC during a specific time frame. A courtesy call letting me know there is a delay would have been nice. He did manage to make the repair & we finally had a working AC after SEVEN days of 90-100 degree temps.
Bottom line for me, I used them because they installed my system & I had a one year warranty for labor & parts. Their actions during that warranty period would determine if I became a loyal customer or not. They had an opportunity to show me what kind of company they are ... and they did. Once that warranty was void, I never used them again. And never will.
We have been using All Trade for several years and I can't say enough great things about them. They are a company that deals with electrical, heating, air and plumbing. The guys that come out have been amazing! They do quality work and are very friendly. They are an amazing company that cares about their customers and that goes a long way for me!
My mom's water heater was leaking right before the New Year weekend. I contacted All Trades at 4:45pm on Thursday and the owner was so helpful. I called her back with the answer to her questions and she setup an appt for the next day, on Friday, so we could have hot water before the weekend. The contractor who came out was very nice and installed the water heater and answered all of our questions.
They installed a gas line for us and connected our range to it. The techs were both thorough and courteous. they were on the job when they said they would be and explained what they were doing. The inspector was impressed with their quality of work.
I have worked with All Trades for about 5 years. Our HVAC contract is with them. We have also occasionally needed them for plumbing or electrical work. They have been prompt and courteous. The electrician did a particularly good job, taking care of just about everything on our punch list. The only thing he didn't do was work on some low-voltage wiring that's set up like a rat's nest going to our fuse box, and low-voltage wiring is rarely used, at least for residential construction. Very few people know how to work on that. He could do most of it, but there was one section that was pretty bad. He was smart enough to know his limits and said he really wasn't comfortable fixing that section. That's the fault of the electrician who put it in years ago. We appreciated his honesty. I have to say it's really nice to have one company we can call for electrical, plumbing and HVAC. I recommend them.
Spent three months at my house and fixed nothing but continually charged me for no results. Then when I question became very nasty and very poor customer service. Not concerned at all about their customers...
Wow, first impressions can say a lot.
Charlie, the estimator, has no sense of professionalism. I was set up for 8-10 time slot. At 8:25 he says ""I'll be there in 30 minutes."" It's 10:15 now..... I call them to see what's going on and he says ""I couldn't find your house"" and ""I tried to call"" and ""must have been a dead cell phone spot"". Well, if it's a dead cell spot, then how can you try to call?! I'm sure glad this happened because I cannot imagine how bad an experience it would have been had we contracted them for about $10,000 and been dealing with this level of nonsense.
I'm fine with REASONS but I'm not fine with EXCUSES. If you can't seem to make a call or leave a message, then just maybe try again when you can.
When I call them, twice, to resolve this, I got hung up on twice by this guy. Worse yet, now they don't answer the phone anymore..... incredible.
I called All Trade Contractors on July 3rd because I woke up to partial electricity. The kind lady who answered explained what my problem might be and suggested that I start by calling my power company, which would be free. She said she could send someone out later in the day if the power company couldn't fix the problem. I talked with three companies before calling All Trade Contractors none of them could send electricians out because of the July 4th holiday. No one else took the time to suggest I start with the power company. I will be calling All Trade Contractors for help in the future.
Rob H.Called this morning as I need an electrician.
Website looks great. Very professional looking site.
Called the phone number from the site and the person who answered the phone took all my information and had me describe the problem, etc. After speaking for about 5 mins, the person on the phone then stated that they only have one electrician and that the person would be back next week.
Next week?!?!?!
All over the website it talks about how fast and efficient they are. Also, how the company started out just doing electrical work.
It looks like they have moved on from electrical work if they only have one electrician and that electrician is not always available.
