Recommended Customer Reviews

Do yourself a favor and go with another company. They do not take accountability when tech breaks something. Instead, they will put you through a week of hell to include all upper management. Very poorly managed organization. I would not recommend.

Service request from AHS was addressed promptly by AllTech.
Professional customer service from the both offices.
Shannon, the technicians was on time, courteous and concern about how to help resolve the problem. He accesses the situation, noted that a part needed to be replaced and ordered it.
Thank you for a job well done.

This is an update from my previous review. So we ended up getting a tech from AllTech to come look at our AC unit on July 7th. They did a thorough inspection of the evaporator coil and found leaks present (their last tech did not). They got the information from the unit and said that it would need to be ordered. I was given a piece of paper for American Home Shield customers that explained the order of events when something needs to be ordered. The paper stated that within 24 hours the part would be sourced by AllTech if they could find it. If they could not, then AHS would do it on their end and notify me. I wait 3 days and never hear a single thing back from either company on the status. I called both companies and got the run around for almost 10 days straight. Mind you, it's over 100 degrees in Oklahoma and 90+ in our house with a dog and 8 month old. Luckily we have portable AC units. Fast forward to the 18th of July when I'm told that the part was finally ordered and I get an ETA of the 29th. So we wait. Fast forward again to Aug 2, we have an install appointment. The techs arrive to install the new coil and look at the unit and quickly realize it's the wrong part. So now we are still without an AC and it's still 100 degrees. They reordered the right part again and scheduled us for Aug 9th to install the new coil should it be delivered to the shop by the 5th or 8th. When I asked about what could be done to resolve the issue or to help alleviate the headache I was just given apologies and the blame was put on AHS. I still don't know who's mess up it was. 0 out of 10 would not recommend.

Normally they service my AC for the spring and fall through home shield. I got a call directly from them as they were running a special. It was about the reg price so I had them come out. When they arrived I was at work but they had my wife turn off the AC unit so they could check it. I soon got a call that the ""blower had burned out and I needed to come talk to them. They explained that the Blower had burnt out due to a weak capacitor. When I explained it was working when I left they refuted that and they told me I needed a new System installed. they could install a blower and UV lamp but recommended I use American home shield to cash out and by a new unit as it would go out soon anyway. They turned off the breaker and stated to not turn it back on due to a fire risk with the blower being out should the heat turn on. The next morning I just wanted to check the system under for my own observation as I opened up the system the old capacitor was gone. I felt strange about that and called my brother in law who works on HVAC units for a living he had me give him the model number and told me he could be over the following Friday (he does not live near me). He came over put in a new capacitor and everything worked fine. Blower was not out. I thanked him and he said just keep what I got it was fine. Alltech recommended an over $10,000 replacement when there was nothing wrong with the blower in the first place. They are very friendly but if you use them I would recommend getting a second opinion if you they try selling you an entire systems for sure. And if you cant test it yourself be careful with just taking their word for it.
