You will never know just how many things can go wrong until you get sick and you discover you have not a drop of hot water. How big of a deal can replacing a water heater be if you live in a single family dwelling?? OMG..........I live in Laguna Woods and both they and the City require permits! Still experiencing Covid closedown, the Laguna Woods Alterations offices were taking calls remotely and it took several days to have a return call. After being lucky enough to call All Star Plumbing and Fire Sprinkler, I was visited by Ed, the owner, who took a look at the situation and went into immediate action. I went into the hospital. Ed went into action. He obtained permission to change out the heater, handled all of the Laguna Woods and City issues that I was confronted with and assigned the task to one of his GREAT plumbers and an electrician. (Yep, codes have changed considerably since the old one that came with the purchase of my house eight years ago). I was discharged to find considerable work being done in my garage. I expected to find a mess -- but instead, when the City Inspector came to sign off the project -- he pointed out the changes that had been made, the safety items installed and the piping re-run that was making sense in 2021. BRAVO, kudos and nothing but raves for a company that could have taken complete advantage of me -- but instead provided a squeaky clean installation that met or exceeded all governmental requirements. In this day and age -- that is REMARKABLE (not to mention honest and caring). Can't give enough stars to accurately rate them. Bravo to Ed for the leadership required to manage quality employees and the follow thru to contact me a few days following to make sure I was happy with the job.

Great service from Aaron at Laguna Woods. I had a leaking kitchen faucet that needed replacing and All Star came right over and replaced it. I also needed some fixtures tightened in the bath as they were loosening.

All Star and Aaron were on time, friendly, clean, efficient, honest and didn't leave without making sure everything was complete to my satisfaction.

Ed advised me based on submitted photos, and Adam did excellent work on replacing a shower valve. They came on time, did the work very efficiently, cleaned up the site, and charged a fair price. I'm very pleased with their attitude, helpfulness, and the quality of their work. I'd use them again without question. They know their stuff!

Nothing but great things to say about Ed and his company. During our remodel, we had a last minute requirement from the city to install fire sprinklers. Ed and his team were helpful, knowledgeable, prompt, and great at communicating. Anytime I had a question, Ed or one of his employees would call or text back. Their customer service was top notch, and their quality of work was incredible. I'm a local firefighter who deals with a lot of fire sprinkler inspections, etc. I would have zero problems using Ed and his company again.

$2000 to replace a defective water heater may seem expensive, because it is! However, since I live in Laguna Woods, the condo board has strict stipulations concerning permits, notification, and everything else associated with hiring a contractor. All Star took on all of these tasks and I had a new water heater in two hours flat! That's a record. Even the in house plumbers would've taken a couple of days. Aaron and Moe did a great job. But $2000 for a water heater? Outrageous! Until you add in the cost of the permit, the cost of having a licensed electrician put in a GFI ground outlet, and the time needed by the plumber and staff to wait in line in dealing with Laguna Woods Village and Golden Rain foundation staffers. Then it's more like $850 for the heater, $600 for the electrical and the time involved with the rest of it!

This company did a great job repairing my shower issue. They were professional, reliable, and skilled at what they do. They were the third plumbing company that I had come out. All-Star Plumbing & Fire Sprinkler installed a new water heater for us. Ed, the owner, was completely familiar with the special steps required of contractors to do work within Laguna Woods Village. Other plumbers I contacted were not. Ed's price was fair and we were kept informed throughout the entire process. Ed's crew was very professional. We will definitely choose All Star Plumbing & Fire Sprinkler in the future.

I noticed that my fire sprinkler pipe in the garage had a leak in it at 10:30am. Keith and Holt came out by 1:30pm that same day, identified that I had a broken pressure gauge, and repaired it by 3pm. Excellent customer service at a fair price. I have since saved their number in my phone for future use, should I need them.
