Scam! Operator day before refused to give me plumber hourly fee or for me to speak with a plumber . She scheduled for next day which was a Saturday for a $49 fee and when they came today the actual plumber told us $460 including $49 fee to install our already owned brand new electric hot water heater which the plumber told us is a 90 minute job! That includes us hauling the old one away by the way which is ok with us. The hourly fee is way too high!! The other scam is she just told me now that the fee is high because some mysterious Saturday overtime fee which she did NOT tell me about Friday when I made appointment and asked her what all fees were and hourly pricing and she refused to give me any pricing . She told me she cannot waive a Saturday fee - unethical as I asked her to give me any fees or pricing info day before and she refused and refused to have plumber call me . Where are the days of a customer speaking with a plumber and not some operator ? In chicago we have plumbers like that! We told them to leave as way too high priced . SCAM business practices.

All Pro has always been great to us. They know their stuff and we never worry about them when they come to our home. They wear booties indoors (my wife goes nuts if people don't take off their shoes) and we've yet to have them have to return to fix anything they've done. When they fix it...it's fixed!

I have a rental house in SW Michigan. I live in Chicago where I own a bunch of rental units so I know what contractor should charge. I drove up from Chicago to meet the technichian at my house. I was told their would be service fee that would be waved if they did the work. I had 2 very minor issues, a running toilet and a kitchen faucet the had a minor leak at the neck only when you turned the faucet on. The technichian took all of 5 minutes to give me a price of $385 to fix both but suggested replacing the faucet and that would be $587 for the 2 jobs. I knew this would probably take a pro about 25 minutes to do both. The toilet only needed a new flapper! I declined his service. I went to the hardware store and bought a new faucet and a flapper for $108 and did the job myself. it took me 40 minutes. The labor rate must me twice as high in Buchanan MI compared to Chicago. After all that they charge my credit card $69 for a service charge. This company is dishonest and a rip off.

Total ripoff!
My simple 20 minute job cost over $250, just for labor. At that rate it came to more than $500 per hour.
They should be ashamed of themselves.
WILL NEVER, EVER USE AGAIN!

I have a Renai tankless hot water heater, and HVAC and the service at All Pro is always outstanding. It starts with Nicole's cheery answering of the phone (how can I make you smile today?) and her keeping you in the loop with the timing of the technician's arrival.
Today I had outstanding service by Chris (plumbing flush of Renai system) and Bill (AC check) Clean, respectful, hard workers. I highly recommend. (I don't understand any of the bad ratings here, I have never had anything but great service from them!)

In my opinion, the owner Bill is a rip-off artist, and runs his operation more as a grift than a legitimate service. Don't trust him. Don't use All Pro for anything under any circumstances. If you do, you will certainly regret doing so. It's a shame that, in my opinion, Bill would rather defraud people for easy money rather than earn an honest living. His fees are way above market, charging unexpected nonsensical fees. For example, on one call, I requested service for a clogged drain. He charged a service call fee plus a separate ""diagnosis fee"" (total over $200!) for a 10 minute service call where he confirmed the drain was clogged but couldn't unclog it because he didn't have a snake on his truck! A separate service call at an additional fee would be required to unclog the drain with a snake. What legitimate plumber does anything like this? None. Then he threatens to file a mechanics like if you don't pay up immediately. Bill should be in jail!

Agreed with earlier review, stay FAR, FAR away. This is by far the worst company I have ever been involved with during eight different house remodels. Their ""Straight Forward Pricing"" means ""We are going to rip you off BIG time!""

We purchased a new kitchen sink, faucet, and disposal. All our costs, all parts on site. All we needed was a plumber to remove existing sink, cut out some existing PVC, and hook up components. There was indeed a disconnect between existing sink and drain line which required 45 more minutes time.

For a grand total of THREE hours on site, one hour drive time, they charged my wife $1,276. Over $300/hour for labor, since the replacement PVC, one O-clamp and maybe some pipe glue cost under $50 easily. I have since called two other local plumbers and confirmed we got majorly screwed by this company, and not good opinion from them either!

Yes, my wife signed the work order, against my wishes, but this All Pro Services company is majorly gouging customers (they refused to give any approximate costs over phone, $69 service fee, and I now know why). We have multiple plumbing and heating items we still plan for other house, but no chance of EVER mentioning this company again other than NEGATIVELY. Pathetic gouging of customers.

This company's owner has an ethics problem and their technicians have a competency problem. This is the 2nd time I hired them to do work. In all fairness, the first time was fine, cleaned out a sewer line (how hard is that to screw up if you own the right tool) but the cost was very high. Fine, I needed it done and I don't have the tool they have.

I recently asked them to come out because my tenant had no hot water. I explained on the phone that I just replaced the lower element and thermostat on this 2 year old water heater, but it still wasn't working all the time, it was intermittent. I just don't have the time to fix it again. They came out for $49 service fee, checked the elements with their volt meter, both registered fine, and pushed the reset button on the thermostat. It came on and started to heat so they deemed it fixed. In reality, they didn't 'fix' anything. On their invoice they wrote: ""Tested unit, all working at this time renter has hot water. Technician recommended to replace unit because it is limed up due to water quality."" That diagnosis cost another $99. I sent in my $148 payment since I always pay my bills on time and in full. Then a week later my tenant contacted me again that they had no hot water.

I contacted All Pro to see if they guarantee their work. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. They couldn't send anyone out for two days because they were busy. Meanwhile I have a renter with no hot water. I went there and drained the tank, found the upper element was bad, replaced that and took a picture of the inside of the tank walls, clean as a whistle. I watched a 3 minute youtube video on how to vacuum the sediment from the bottom of the tank. I did that, filled the tank and its been working ever since. Took me 45 minutes.

How could the tech say a 2 year old heater needed complete replacement due to lime if they never drained the tank and took a look inside? Just lazy. If you push the button and it heats it doesn't mean its fixed.

So I go to their office to ask about refunding the $99 since the guy didn't actually fix anything and even showed her the bad element and pictures I took of inside of tank. Leslie said she would have to talk to the tech first, although she told me everything the tech did and what the condition of my tank was as if she did the job herself.

I called again two days later to talk to the owner, which Leslie said she was. I asked about a refund and this time she said she hadn't had a chance to talk to the supervisor yet. Supervisor? You are the company owner! What supervisor? What happened to talking to the technician?
Now, if you ask her, she will say I didn't give them a chance to work on the unit again because I did it myself. However, their fix for this, per their diagnosis, was to replace the entire unit. Yep, that will surely fix it, and at a very high cost.
If you call her out on that she will say the tech would have done the same thing I ended up doing, given the chance to come out again. To that I say, then why didn't you do it on your first visit?

There is no excuse for this type of business in town.

I got them impression they were going to brush me off until I went away, which they have. Fine, I stopped payment on the check I sent. Lets see if I get a call back now!

If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

Very Expensive - WATCH YOUR WALLET! They have ""Flat Pricing"" but the charges are incredibly high! Ask before you call them out as they will likely have a service call charge too.

This is a terrible company, stay far, far away!

Not only is the lady who answers the phone very rude, but the technician they send out are even worse. Poor service, very uncomfortable to have in your home, rude, and just an overall bad experience. I would highly recommend going elsewhere.

Also, if you make an appointment and later call to cancel (with 5 days notice of cancellation), plan on having them still show up at your home, demand payment, and not leave your property until you give them some form of payment.
