Not reliable. After I allowed him in my home to see my project. He left, and never submitted his estimate for the work. I even called him a week later, he said he is busy but he will get it to me. That was 6 wks ago.

Based on my personal experience with Miguel, I am not quire sure where those 5 star reviews came from. I recently closed on a rental property and had some installation work to be done. I found Miguel on yelp coz he's got pretty good ratings. We scheduled an appointment to get the work done but he didn't show up. Then I gave him a call asking if he's still coming and he said he's not finished with current work and gonna need at least an hour to get to my place. I had to reschedule it but he's not showing up on time again. The worst part is, I told him that I wanted to install one-sided deadbolt on the front door and garage door and even sent him pictures of what to buy. However, he still bought the wrong item and installed the two-sided deadbolts. And then he decided to give the keys to the tenants without even asking me ! He is like the worst handyman I've ever seen. I will never work with him again and will never recommend him to anyone !

You don't seem to have the attitude of admitting your fault but choose to cover up your problems by telling lies and assigning blames. I have the history of text messages sent between you and me that shows I rescheduled the first appointment 3 days prior to the originally scheduled time (So it is a lie that you said I didn't show up for the first appointment). And when the time came to the first appointment, it was you that didn't show up on time and told me you would need at least another 1 hour when you were already 30 minutes late. That was when I had to reschedule it and you failed to show up on time again for the second appointment. For the wrong item issue, I was not notified in any forms from you about the wrong items you were going to purchase until after you had already installed them (So it is a lie that you said I was fully aware of that). You just made decisions yourself without communicating with me at all. Maybe the items were not available in the store that he went to, but the common sense was to call me to discuss what to do next instead of making decisions yourself. I've meaning to give you more stars since I left my original review because I understand it is not easy to do business nowadays especially with this COVID thing going on. But then I saw your response here which is full of lies and lack of facts.

If you want to defend yourself, please stop making up stories. And if you want to succeed in your business, please focus more on improving your quality of work and work ethics than on telling lies to make yourself look good.

Miguel and Bradford are the best!!! After 5 days with no electricity and water, they arrived at 5 pm on a Saturday night and worked through the night until 4:30 am helping me replace a water heater, fix 5 busted pipes and locate the source of the low water pressure. They were so professional, conscientious, and hard working. I really appreciate his fair pricing and thoughtfulness to not leave me until my water was working. With the historical freeze in Dallas last week, it is extremely difficult to find a plumber, much less one that is reliable and trustworthy. All the problems and corrections were patiently explained to me and corrected. He even recommended an excellent water extraction company for my carpets that were soaked from the waterfall of busted pipes.

In addition to the above, Miguel several days earlier drove 45 minutes back to to my house at 11 pm to show me how to turn off the main water valve to the house when the house water purifying system sprung 5 high pressure leaks in the PVC pipes and exploded the filter container. It is difficult to find this kind of amazing customer service. He is truly a kind and considerate man.

I highly recommend Miguel and Bradford for all your handyman needs.

I am so very grateful to Miguel for responding immediately and being so kind and considerate!!! During the snowstorm I came home to water pouring out of my garage, spraying from what ended up being two broken pipes. My current company, Baker Brothers told me good luck, see you in three weeks. I called SEVERAL companies all saying three week turnaround due to everyone having issues. Water was spraying out everywhere and honestly I didn't know what to do!! BUT when I called Miguel, he stopped what he was doing, drove an hour to come and asses the problem, turn off my water and he even showed me how to turn it back on if I needed to. He returned the next morning, as promised, to fix the two broken pipes, replace my hot water heater, which was very old, and fix my washing machine, which had frozen lines.

During this national emergency, it was an incredible blessing to find someone who really cared, who also did a perfect job and was really nice. He cleaned up my entire garage and even took the old water heater as I could not leave it out in my neighborhood. I have already scheduled another appointment for him and I definitely recommend him and his son. Because of Miguel I had my frozen/broken pipes fixed in 24 hrs. instead of most in the Dallas area whose wait time was at least 1 to 3 weeks!!!

I reached out to Miguel via Yelp messages and he was very helpful. We were able to schedule an in person estimate and he showed up on time and in a mask. He gave me an extremely fair price and provided an electronic estimate on hanging two new light fixtures one of which was in the stairwell and required a ladder. He also gave us a fair assessment of an old peeling bathtub and did a great job painting it. It looks brand new!
As we continue updating our home piece by piece, w will definitely be reaching out to him for future projects!

Timely response, fair pricing and excellent work from Miguel and associate. I needed baseboards on a home installed and he was able to quote and handle the next morning - on a Sunday! He was courteous, clean, efficient and detailed. Planning to use him for additional work soon.

We've been homeowners for a little over a month now but have already had our fair share of experience working with trustworthy and genuine contractors and unfortunately, those who are unreliable and will say anything to make a quick buck. Miguel and his team are definitely part of that first category of contractors! He took our dilapidated deck from zero to hero. The deck on this house is probably 10-15 years old, had several broken, cracked, or lifting boards in various places and desperately needed some attention before we could put any furniture out there.

Rather than demolish the entire thing and start from scratch (too expensive right now), we sought quotes for repair. Miguel offered the fairest price (he essentially quoted the same as his competitors, but ended up providing more intensive solutions than what his competitors were offering).

He replaced the boards, ended up needing to replace almost the entire railing (he did have to re-quote us for additional parts halfway through, but he did not charge for extra labor, just the cost of extra materials), added a much-needed trim to prevent further damage over time from the existing boards, power-washed, and painted.

I asked for extra reinforcement in various places and extra attention to detail in areas where I felt older boards still had rough/sharp edges and he took care of these minor details without charging an extra penny.

A demolition project and starting over with this deck could have cost nearly $10K. We only desired to extend the life of this deck for at least 4-5 years (which I am confident we did), and spent approx. $2300. I'd say it was well worth it.

Not to mention, it's such a relief finding some like Miguel who is so personable and easy to work that I now know who I need to reach out to for other household repairs/renovations in the future. I appreciate his transparency, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile to make us happy. See before and after photos to see for yourself.
