Worst service company I have ever worked with. They are chronically late or don't show up for appointments and never call. Even worse they ordered the wrong pressure gauge TWICE for my furnace and act like it's no big deal. I would highly recommend not using them!

I had an excellent experience this morning. Tony confirmed the appointment by phone and arrived on time. he was able to review the situation with my heating system and pinpoint the issues, which were resolved quickly and - fortunately - at a reasonable cost. Tony was professional and I appreciated that he came equipped with all tools and parts necessary to complete the job. He also laid out some suggestions for the A/C System and the overall heating and hot water systems in my house. He was patient and answered all of my questions. He showed me the correct way to maintain my system. I was very pleased. Also I feel good that AMHAC is local.

Jorge came today for an emergency visit. Our boiler wasn't working right on one of the coldest and snowiest days of the year. He was pleasant, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Will definitely request him next time I schedule an appointment with AMHAC. Jorge made us warm again. Yay!!!

Our 1st floor AC was not turning on so we called AMHAC for a non-emergency visit. I had Jorge as our technician and he was great! He was courteous (put on booties when entering my home) and explained what the issue was after climbing through our attic crawl space to get to the air handlers. Being home with my two kids, I really felt he was honest and friendly. I didn't know we needed to get the A/C system blown out at the end of the summer, and that was the cause of it not working this spring. Thanks to Jorge, now I can better maintain the system.

4 stars instead of 5 because although I'm not sure how similar pricing is across HVAC companies, I thought it was pricey for less than a 1 hour visit.

I purchased a PMA (planned maintenance agreement) on my heating furnace and two AC units from AMHAC because their pricing was competitive and they came recommended by a friend. I just had the furnace maintenance done. The AMHAC folks were timely, professional and courteous. Their office staff were also very responsive and efficient to deal with when I purchased the PMA.

I have the highest regard for this company and their customer service. My mother had to have an ancient boiler replaced. From the office staff to the technicians every aspect of the installation was flawless. Contrary to some of the reviews on Yelp, I had nothing short of an extraordinaire experience. I did my homework, and shopped around fetching 3 quotes in total. AMHAC delivered me the best bang for the buck, and did everything they promised to do and more.

Pat the engineer visited the job site almost everyday to ensure the installation was going smoothly...excellent quality control! When we encountered some problems, they came up with alternative solutions without charging me any extra. I could not have been more pleased. Unlike other work crews, they really know how to tidy up after a days work, and any mess created disappeared before each day was done.

My home now cools, and heats properly unlike before. These guys certainly know their stuff, and even if they are a bit expensive like some others claim on here, you certainly pay for what you get, and that's quality, and experience knowing the job will be done right the first time. Thank you Pat and Co. !!!!

After going out to three vendors, we chose Amhac to for the conversion from oil to gas and to replace our entire heating, hot water and AC mechanicals. They had a very competitive price, did a great job and handled everything with ConEd (who was a nightmare and totally unresponsive). They were professional, explained everything that was going on, cleaned up every time they came to the house. When we had few minor issues with the system post installation, they were timely in coming to house and correcting the item or making changes. We even had a bad condenser (not Amhac's fault) that was discovered a year later, Carrier was being difficult on honoring their warrantee and Amhac stepped in, got us a brand new AC unit and fought the company on there own. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend there services.

My wife and I strongly recommend Amhac.
We were recently looking for an air conditioning company to install central air conditioning in a ""pre war"" condo in Manhattan. Central air in older NYC apartments are ectreamly challenging, and therefore very rare. I was referred to Marc Berman and the Amhac team by a trusted contractor that I've previously worked with.
Mr. Berman's team was outstanding in every stage of the project. The central air design was uniquely innovative, maximizing the cooling air - while maintaining the structure of the apartment. The project was finished on schedule and on budget.
Other building residents and buyers have looked at Amhac's work on our apartment, and hired Amhac to install central air in their apartments.
