Snuffy S.got an estimate for a simple leaking sewer pipe repair, and a new sink hookup. it wasn't just that the hours he claimed it would take were pretty high, i can understand that, but the labor was going to be $125 an hour. that's an emergency plumber fee -- every reputable local plumber charges like $75 an hour for scheduled work. for what it's worth, i got negative vibes, and went with my gut, straight to another plumber.
