Amber S.I 100% do not recommend this company. We had them out to remove a block from my drain to a house that we just moved into. First the used our tools to remove the sewage line caps. Then they flooded our partially finished basement with 500 gallons of sewage water by blowing water into the pipes and letting it come back into the basement (and all over our stuff because we just moved). He said that there might be seepage (by which we expected maybe a couple of gallons) but instead he just let our basement fill up and did nothing to catch the water- no bins, no tarps, nothing. And this was not clean water. All of our stuff was splattered with sewage water. Then he said that this would be an insurance claim (under my insurance) and that I should tell my insurance company that the sewage water was already there when he got there, so again, trying to screw me over, lie and avoid responsibility! He gas-lit us, as we were very nice and understanding thinking that it was an accident, charged us $1,100 and left, acting like this was all normal. It has been 7.5 weeks and my basement still smells like sh*t, and my insurance claim has been an awful nightmare. This is a huge source of anxiety for us and he never owned up to it, took any responsibility or even apologized. I hope he doesn't do this to everyone but this wasn't even a mistake- he hydrowashed our pipes for 2 hours and just watched our basement fill up. Our entire house smelled like poop for 4 weeks and the woman who came out for insurance almost threw up in our basement- after the water was cleaned out and basic cleanup happened.
Had Bill out twice with sewer pump problems (alarm going off). I didn't think I would use them again; but I ended up giving them a second chance when referred by a busy plumber. I wish I hadn't. The first time, I was charged $175. The second time I was charged $200. All they really did was plug and unplug the pump in the house, take of the sewer cover (and STEP on the parts inside), then advise me to call a plumber. I will NEVER use them again. Complete waste of money. For the result, I could've flushed the $375 down the toilet and gotten the same result.
My husband called them for a blocked drain. They did snake the drain and used a camera but never told him the camera they were using would cost $200 extra. They told him we needed a new drain and asked for prepayment of $650 so they could finish the job the next day. My husband paid them and they never came back. Foolish us getting ripped off by this dishonest company. I did go to the BBB. P.S. read the 5 star reviews they sound friend-enhanced. The people who got ripped off are telling the truth.
I called for quote on blocked pipe- after diagnostic of what needs to be done they charged 450$ and did no real work... this place is a scam stay far away... Worst company I have ever dealt with..
Alice S.Awesome job!!!! Excellent communication from Bill, but exemplary work by Brendan. He promised to get our backed up drain resolved, and with a whole lot of sweat and a LOT of determination and resolve he worked to fix our problem. I love that he educated us as he worked and foreclosed what we needed to do to avoid future problems and cutback on current problems. I highly recommend!!!! They were VERY fair in costs and fun to work with
Richard G.On Friday 4/5/19 we had a sewer drain backup in our Framingham home. We called All-In-One Drain Cleaning & Septic Service. They agreed to come promptly and two workers were at our house in two hours. They ran a camera down our sewer line 86' from our basement utility room out to the sewer main under the road and showed us a number of blockages and a root intrusion. They then used a high pressure water jet to clean out the drain. They never quoted a price in advance. They did not leave us a copy of the video inspection of the sewer line. The charge for this 2 1/2 hours of work was $500.
One of the workers told us that our sewer line was in imminent danger of collapse and needed to be relined with a Perma-Liner process, which is a well-accepted method of relining an existing pipe without excavating and removing the old pipe. They said that the 26' of cast iron line that ran under our family room concrete floor if not relined would have to be jack-hammered out and replaced with great cost and inconvenience. They quoted a cost of $10,320 for this relining, said they could do the work the following week on April 10, and required a deposit of $5,160, of which $500 would be forfeited if we cancelled the work no later than Monday, April 8. If the pipe collapsed before it was relined, then it would have to be excavated and replaced, which they said would cost $30,000 and take at least a week to complete, during which time we would not be able to use any water. We succumbed to this pressure and gave them the deposit check of $5,160.
Mr. William Hackett, All-In-One's manager said, in response to my question, that he believed that All-In-One was BBB accredited. After the two workers left I checked BBB on line and discovered that All-In-One is not BBB accredited and in fact had two complaints lodged against them. I notified All-In-One Sunday evening, April 7, that we were cancelling the relining work scheduled for April 10. Mr. William Hackett replied that same evening that we would be responsible for the $500 cancellation fee.
Massachusetts law gives a homeowner three business days to cancel any unfilled order for goods or services made at the home. The $500 cancellation charge was therefore illegal. I stopped payment on both checks ($500 and $5,160) because I didn't make a note of which check number was for which payment, information that the bank needs to stop payment. If I hadn't stopped payment on the $5,160 check it is doubtful that All-In-One would have refunded the entire $5,160 deposit.
On Tuesday April 9 we obtained a video inspection of the sewer line at a cost of $325, which included a flash drive copy of the inspection. The inspection showed two ten foot sags in the sewer line. A relining would not have cured these sagged sections, which meant that there would always be standing water in these sections. The relining process proposed by All-In-One would have left us with an undesirable situation. The drain cleaning service that made the video inspection said that their cost for two men to clear our sewer line would have been $369 ($219 plus $150 for the second worker). This video inspector said our sewer line was not in imminent danger of collapse. I took the flash drive with the nearly one hour long video record of our sewer line to the Framingham Sewer Commission. Two gentlemen there viewed the video and told me that our sewer line was not in danger of collapse and that the 26' of cast iron pipe under our family room floor was fine and did not have to be replaced.
We have since obtained an estimate from a local and highly recommended sewer line replacement company. The contractor viewed the video inspection we had made on April 9 and said that the cast iron line under our family room floor was sound and did not need to be replaced. Their estimate is $9,060 for all work needed to install a brand new 6"" PVC line from our front door, where the cast iron line under the family room transitions to asbestos pipe, that would last indefinitely and the work could be completed in less than one full day. (""We arrive at 7:00 AM and will be gone by 3:00 PM."") Of this $9,060 some $2,500 was due to the need for special handling and disposal of the asbestos pipe outside our house up to the city main. All-In-One had no way of knowing that the outside line was asbestos and required this expensive disposal process, making their $30,000 number even more inaccurate; the city sewer department and the local contractor knew that the lines in our street were asbestos, but All-In-One would not know this. All-In-One greatly exaggerated the cost and time involved to remove and replace the sewer line in order to pressure us into giving them an order and deposit on April 5. They took advantage of our complete ignorance.
patrick h.These folks answered all my calls & showed up on time ready to work. It took some effort & ingenuity to free up our drain, but our tech was persistent & determined to make this work. A decent, reliable & affordable service if you ever find yourself in need.
Royal C.I just had the pleasure of using All In One Drain Cleaning very recently. The only reason why I'm not giving them a 5 star rating is due to not receiving a response from them when I initially requested service. After calling a second company that advised to me they did not provide the service that I needed, I went back to All In One Drain Cleaning because of all the great reviews that this company received. I called the company and spoke to a rep that advised me that they could get someone to my residence within the hour. Within the hour a technician arrived and cleared out my clogged kitchen sink and everything was working as normal. I don't have much experience with home maintenance as this is my first home but this company will get my business again as the services are needed!
Not happy with the service! Charge me 400 for the below.
Open the pump and remove the toilet, and put them back.
Issues reported are pipes broken inside. No clog taken no issues fixed. Reported to say no machine with camera to find more . Found some grass in the drain and they put grass back to drain and covered drain cap . Not sure what kind of drain service it was. Looking at 5 star reviews I called them, but not satisfied at all , my 400 is drained end of the day just for opening and closing the drain.
Lynnsy P.Did a great job, came within just a few hours of us calling and had the problem solved in no time! Friendly and very fairly priced!
