In West Valley City, my brothers and I gained plumbing skills from our father. When I was 11, I had no idea how much knowledge my dad was imparting. I began my plumbing apprenticeship with my older brothers at 17 in Salt Lake City. There, I learned to work on main water lines, water heaters, and water softeners. In honor of our father, my brothers and I started a plumbing repair company called Carl's Sons Plumbing. While we enjoyed great times, I was compelled to pursue my own venture. Consequently, I founded All Hours Plumbing Heating & A/C, a company dedicated to residential repairs. A decade later, I continue to connect with my brothers to share insights and knowledge. In the plumbing, heating, and air conditioning field, there’s always more to learn. My brother Jim still runs Carl's Sons Plumbing in Big Bear, California, 27 years later. My dad was a plumber who valued his work and his big family of 12. He brought us along to work, instilling basic plumbing skills in us early on. It created lasting memories, fostering our work ethic and knowledge in a skilled trade. At 17, I began my plumbing apprenticeship while working with my brothers in a sizable residential repair shop near 7th East and I-80 in Salt Lake City. I developed my expertise in main water lines, water heaters, water softeners, and other hands-on tasks there. In memory of our father, my brothers and I launched a business called Carl's Sons Plumbing, which we ran for roughly two years. Ultimately, I chose to create my own business independently. I appreciate the wisdom I received from my father and my older brothers.
