Recommended Customer Reviews
Kelly H.Michael is unprofessional and extremely rude. AHS sent him to my house and I could not believe his lack of customer service skills. He told me being without water in my kitchen for weeks wasn't a big deal and asked if I had OCD. When I asked about how long it would take he said ""well the parts come from China SO......"" Then he ordered the wrong part completely. I ended up canceling the service request altogether because I refuse to have him back in my house. If AHS tries to send him to your home - cancel and ask for a refund. Save yourself from the aggravation and inconvenience.
To be avoided - They work with American Home Shield ( AHS) - their manager is very agressive and thinks he has a monopoly in the area, for all plumbing works with AHS (not true) -
I am a AHS customer and have had a total of 4 interactions with this company. The 1st was positive, which was repair of frozen/burst pipes which was not covered by my home warranty, but under the emergent nature of the circumstances I paid him cash, he provided me with a receipt and the repair was covered by my homeowners policy....
The 2nd was for a broken kitchen faucet where he required us to remove a shelf under the sink which I agreed was poorly placed and would make the repair difficult- we agreed to remove it and did remove it, in a timely fashion... but, we were without a functioning kitchen sink for over a month due to difficulties with his company not returning calls to reschedule the install. Once it was installed(a month later) we were satisfied with the quality of the work( which was NOT done by Mike, it done by his helper).
The 3rd visit was to help us with a leaky outdoor shower. this time Mike came alone, told us it was a big job and he wasn't sure that AHS would cover it, and we never heard from him again.(We ended up fixing it ourselves with the help of a you tube video.
The 4th and FINAL visit was due to leaking from the 2nd floor bathroom through the ceiling to our family room on the 1st floor as well as a constant drip from the bath tub faucet that we couldn't get to stop... He came 3 days after the request was placed, spent 1-2 minutes in the upstairs bathroom and 3-4 minutes looking a the water dripping from the ceiling- he then told us that we'd need to contact a loss mitigation company to open the ceiling and the wall, he said once the wall and floor were opened he would return and make the repair. We did as he recommended and hired a mitigation company who came the next day and removed the ceiling of the family room where the leak was and the wall panel behind the shower. I confirmed with the mitigation company that he would reach out to Mike and tell him that he could proceed with the repair- Fans and dehumidifiers were left running 24 hours per day in our family room. After 3 days of no contact from Mike, I started calling his company daily and left voicemail after voicemail. On day 7 I actually reached a receptionist who assured he that he would call back the following day.... On day 10 I FINALLY reached him and he literally berated me for 5 solid minutes about how it was MY fault that he hadn't returned to do the job.... when he stopped talking I asked him ""What does this have to do with you not returning my calls?"" and he continued to berate me, after another minute or two I interrupted him and said I an DONE with you, and I am contacting AHS to file a complaint which I did within 15 minutes.
While on the phone with AHS he sent in his ""report"" from the visit 10 days prior stating that there were rodents, insects and mold in my home and that the premises were unsafe- none of which is true. I even asked the AHS representative if it was customary for one of their contractors to wait 10 days before submitting his report of a visit to a home? The representitive said no..usually they're submitted in 24-48 hours...
AHS has offered me a second opinion which I do not plan on utilizing as the problem has been diagnosed and repairs are ongoing by a local plumber whom I was referred to my by homeowners insurance agent...I will be cancelling my contract with AHS because of my dissatisfaction with them in general..
I may file suit against ""All clear Plumbing"" for defamation- I haven't decided yet. But I can say with 100% confidence that EVERYONE should stay as far away that they can from this company...
All the negative reviews are true. the company works with AHS, American home shield, home warranty. they will come to inspect and never set a date to follow up. if they inspect DO NOT agree to the non covered cost. they never scheduled my actual repair. Better to get a cash out option and schedule your own plumber.
I then had to call AHS and because 30 days have passed need to pay another service request. No communication and there is always an excuse.
Was assigned this company through my AHS warranty. Would not recommend at all. Michael severely lacks professionalism. Spend your money elsewhere.
Complete scam artist. Michael Brown works with American Home Shield to scam customers out of their money and leave them with out hot water, leaking pipes, and clogged drains. Do not rely on this man for anything. Complete trash!!!
company sucks. Mike is a disaster to work with. They never return phone callls. when I told him his company is worthless he denied my claim with AHS which he also sat in for a week. Company is unethical and worthless. I escalated my claim and have another service provider fixing it. Stat away from them.
Connie H.I am very disappointed. it took me serval calls finally AMS to get involved.
Whomever left a professional VM claimed to her back to the customer by 7PM if the call is related to AMS.
I received a call after the deadline time left on the VM and after I called AMS several times.
He had me use my phone to see the damage.
Gave me a estimation of damage by a virtual Lasted 10
Mins.
Than claimed he would send the work order in.
I followed up with AMS the evening on the next day and the work order was not sent in.
my biggest concern is the complaints that are listed on yelp and is exactly how I was treated.
I work in the financial industry and with hundreds of customers I understand plumbing is a high demand but don't overpromise and under deliver. First impression is very important. I have a hot water tank that is leaking and causing more damage to my concrete. I also feel that AMS customers are not being treated the same way based on the voicemail explaining that anybody with AMS will receive a call back by a 7PM and anybody else gets a call back sooner?
That call never happened and only happened past the expected time after getting AMS to follow up.
I've never had a problem with AMS there, an excellent company. i've used AMS for several years.
My hot water tank is still leaking. I don't have an emergency shut off valve and no follow up as of yet.
If I could put a zero rating I would. This company is highly unprofessional and I would not recommend their services.
By far the most arrogant, rude and dishonest contractor I have ever dealt with. I've had a warranty with American Home Shields for a long time. Mike used every excuse to not fix the problem. If you get this contractor call AHS and tell them to not assign this vendor, if they can't find another vendor, they will authorize to use another vendor of your choice and reimburse you for the charge. He thinks he has AHS in his pocket and they will not get rid of him. Well nothing is guaranteed other than if you allow All Clear Services LLC to come out to your house, I GUARANTEE you will not be happy. Run!
