Seriously.... this place runs from a call dispatch center. You don't actually get to speak with any employees or technicians.

I had a water heater emergency, a tech came out late hours, drained the tank and gave me an estimate. Next day I called to make an appointment for a 4:00 - 5:00 window. I skipped lunch to leave work early... 5:00 passed, 6:00 passed, 7:00 passed, 8:00 passed... I called the center four times and everyone said the tech would call me. NOPE! They had every excuse from ""He's running late"" to ""He didn't know he had an appointment"".

The next day I called back and spoke to Derek, who made the appointment for me. He recalled making the appt. and said he'd have the technician call me. Tyrone called and said he was so sorry but he had an emergency and:
""He called the office who were supposed to notify me"".
I became pretty upset since I wasted my whole day anticipating this appointment and got stiffed and he told me not to take it out on him because it wasn't his fault. I asked for the name of the individual at the office who was supposed to call me and I'd take it out on that person. He replied:
""They told ME to call you because they don't want to be bothered"".
He offered to show up right away and do the job. Um, I don't think I'm paying that operation $1,200 for that kind of service.

I called Home Depot and the ball got rolling right away. I'll have hot water Saturday (because I can't take time off from work during the week) and I anticipate total satisfaction.
