SUMMARY: Robert is almost competent, but lazy and prefers to lie and convince customer they need new expensive stuff that warranty company will pay for.

Robert has done 4 jobs for me: clear upstairs shower drain, clear slow kitchen drain, check up on stalled garbage disposal unit, and replaced kitchen faucet. House is Townhome built 10 years ago. He was sent by American Home Shield warranty company.

Kitchen drain had to be cleared again by another company within the year; second guy did a more thorough job AND replaced a functional pipe (for free) that was more likely to clog again.

He told me company would pay for difference of new faucet and cheap model they would cover; also would be no new service charge. Untrue in both instances.

Shower drain had to be cleared again within the year.

Garbage disposal: told me I needed a new unit and warranty company would pay for it. They refused, saying he wrote it was broken because of foreign object stuck in blades, despite the fact that he found nothing there. I didn't want to pay $300+ to have him replace the unit & asked for second opinion as to whether unit was completely broken or had foreign object in blades. Then I loosened the nut under the disposal with an Allen wrench. It has worked perfectly ever since. Second plumber came out and checked that it was working perfectly and I did not need a new one.

Deserves no stars!!!

I usually do not write reviews but I had to on this one. This is by far the worst company I have dealt with! I am in the process of filing a complaint with the BBB and the state board of licensing.

Robert came out told me to order parts since my water heater was under warranty and told me what to order. I called GE the manufacture to order the parts. Well they told me they needed Robert the tech to call because there was no way that I will need all of these parts. I called left almost a dozen messages with no call back and they were lying to my home warranty company stating that they called GE to order the parts and they never did. I believe he was trying to get those parts for another job! Committing fraud! Complete lier's! I will not recommend this company to anyone!

I was very concerned by the reviews I read on Yelp when I was assigned to All American by my warranty American Home Shield. I called All American and asked who the technician would be in my area, and I said I did not feel that Robert would be who I would want to come to my home. Right now my home is rented and I did not want someone impolite to harry the residents. The woman at All American who answered the phone was familiar with the reviews and she told me Robert is very polite and a good plumber. So I agreed to allow him to visit but I asked my residents to let me know if he is not polite and we would request another plumber. It turns out he was polite as promised and he did a good job of diagnosing the drain problem. He had the right camera equipment to explore the drain and was able to offer service advice that will be reviewed by the warranty company. I would not hesitate to have Robert back again to handle future plumbing repairs. This was after already waiting on two occasions for another plumbing company that never arrived in very long time slots; All American gave a more reasonable (narrower) time slot and arrived as promised ready to do the job.

I had amazing service today from All American Plumbing. (and I never YELP) Did you notice - YELP has shoved all of the positive review to the end? Something fishy here with the negative comments - sounds like a personal vendetta, especially clear when you receive their service. Fast, clean, friendly, smart - even showed me what to look out for so I can save money and not have to call a plumber in the future! These negative reviews HAVE to be fake. Happens all the time. I like a tech who is professional and explains things to me. This company does and they know what they're doing.

All I can say Old Republic company sent an excellent plumbing guy. He fixed my long time vibrating toilet valve, now you can flush without making a vibrating sound in the middle of the night. Also he fixed the clog sink and the hot/cold handle temperature. We are happy and appreciated that somebody from all American plumbing like Roberts can be a Mcguiber type thing when it comes with plumbing. Keep up the good works Robert.

I've been having issues with my toilet tank and called All America. Plumbing. Robert was AWESOME he explained the problem in Lehman's term and gave me several recommendations to improve my water pressure. He quickly fixed the problem and was super friendly. Thank you Robert, you were fantastic!

My kitchen was was not working properly, very low water pressure and the sprayer didn't work and leaked every time the water was running. I knew it would have to be replaced so I called American Home Shield since we have a home warranty through them. Robert came out and confirmed my suspicion that the faucet needed to be replaced, there was debris from disintegrating gaskets clogging things up. He had several faucets to choose from on his truck the basic one that would be covered free under the warranty or an upgraded faucet we could choose and pay the difference. We choose to have him install the better faucet of course.
Robert got it installed very quickly and cleanly left no mess behind and everything works great now! He was very clean and neat in both his work and appearance, he was very friendly as well and charged exactly what he quoted me.

Bottom line Robert was fast friendly and provided excellent service, I would gladly use him again and recommend him to anyone needing work done.

They lie, mis diagnose, over inflate prices, and are rude!

We had the misfortune of receiving services from ALL AMERICAN PLUMBING, twice from Old Republic home protection.

First time around Robert was sent out to our home and diagnosed us as having ""a very big plumbing problem"" one that was going to be very timely, difficult and expensive.
He quoted over $4000 in labour.
We wanted a second opinion and another plumber was sent out and fixed the problem for the $60 co pay (plus parts).

Second time around, Robert came out, (with the same aloof and condescending attitude spoken of in other reviews) told us we had a specific problem with parts, that he would research and get back to us within a day. 2 days later I called ORHP to find out what was going on, and was told that Robert had called in, saying he was unable to ""find the materials to do the job""...
Firstly, what does that even mean?
Secondly, he waited to turn our job down with a bogus reason, that just left us hanging and having to then wait another 2 days to get another call out with a new plumber.
Second plumbers then came out, and gave a complete different diagnosis on the issue and seemed rather disgusted at All American (Roberts) diagnosis, as being completely inaccurate.
Robert is the sort of plumber who gives plumbers a bad name.

We were already skeptical about him being sent out to us by ORHP after our first incident, but were willing to give someone a second chance.
What a waist of time and what a schiester!
Shame on him.

I hope people read this review and choose someone else, always.

We told ORHP to never use him again.
Plus, I think the only good reviews might be his friends!

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are rude, unprofessional and scammers.

Tech named Robet came out to my property on 4/29. He recommended that my toilet be replaced from current 3.5 gallon to a 1.28 low flow toilet due to condensation on tank lid and that he would follow up with my Home Warranty company American Home Shield to get approval and then call to schedule when he would be back to install. As of yesterday 5/5 I has not heard anything from my Home Warranty company or All American so I called my Home Warranty company and they advised me that tech had not submitted any notes as of yet!!!! I called All American plumbing and the rude secretary stated she didn't know what was going on, refused to give me name of company manager and said that Robert was out of office and she would leave him a message. Now today I am on the phone with my home warranty company and the tech did call them back but told them a total different recommendation that I was given on my document!!! Not one mention to my Home Warranty company about the toilet needing replaced. I guess ALL American is pissed becuase I compalined. I have an infant in my home and continous water accumulating on my bathroom floor can lead to mold. Rest assure if this happens, I will seek legal action. BEWARE and WARNED...save yourself a headache and be mindful of the other poor reviews and 1 stars......it's the truth! SInce I am unable to find out who manages ALL American, I am writing a letter to the President and CEO of my Home Warranty Company Amercian Home Shield to resolve. It sucks how people try and rip you off. BTW, I just found out the Owner of All American is the tech that came out to my home Robert Bench....lol You'll never get anywhere with them if you complain...go figure.

I wish i would have read these reviews prior to letting this company in my home! My hands were tired because I had to use the vendor American Home Shield send out. Robert came to my home on 04/06/2015. My issue was just a toilet that was slow to drain, not urgent, but figured I would get it looked at before it was a larger issue. And since I have a warranty, just get it taken care of. Right? When Robert arrive he was instantly rude and put off by me, maybe because I am a women? I really don;t know what is issue was. He spoke to me like I was 2 years old. He asked me about the issue i was having, i told him and I mentioned to him that we just had our sewer lateral replaced. He had the audacity to ask me who did and and how much I paid. I told him the company and he said, ""never heard of them"". I could go on and on about the rude and inappropriate exchange we had, but its seems like you could image based on the other reviews about Robert. Bottom line, he said my toilet was ""cleared"" and left. He also told me my toilet was old and it should be replaced. He also told me there were ""construction"" items in my line. Which I am not too sure how he would know that? He didn't pull ANYTHING out of the line and he didn't put a camera down either!

A little over a week later, my toilet overflowed. I called them back asked for a different plumber and they she said she had to send him. I knew in my stomach this was a bad idea! I should have followed my gut. Robert came out on 4/15, again with a cocky condisending tone. Basically said to me, ""he knew this would happen"" and he knows it has to be cleared through the roof vent/Hydro-Jetted. But he said he ""had to"" look at it in order to send the report to AHS to get their approval. The request was declined by AHS. I informed them of my interaction with Robert, and requested a second option. And to send a new plumber out ASAP at their cost.

So! They sent another plumber out the next day, got him up to speed on the history of events. He cleared my toilet on 4/16. And guess what???? It's FINE, no other issues since. NONE! Nothing else is wrong! And all they did was properly snake the line.

I made a report with AHS, and I will be filing a report with the BBB. I can't even believe what a jerk this guy was. It makes me sick I let him in my house!
