Russ F.The worst experience you could imagine when needing mold remediation. The owner came to our home and assessed the situation, gave us a verbal quote, then proceeded to begin work without submitting an estimate to myself or the insurance company. He said it would be around $6000 so we agreed since during the conversation he mentioned he was a devoted """"Christian"""". The set up went fine for the air cleaning but as soon as the work began, John had sent workers who have absolutely no skill at all. Even though they used plastic coverings, the men got paint all over the walls, furniture, plants, lamps, and window coverings. What couldn't be cleaned needed to be thrown away or replaced. They barely cleaned up after themselves and made a mess in our side yard with paint and drywall. We were billed for things that were never done and after the work was done we finally received an estimate/bill. ACP's price came in at more than DOUBLE his initial estimate! Over $15000 total!!!! I spoke with the owner and asked why he would double his price than originally quoted. He said he submitted to a third party billing company and that it was """"in line with other companies"""" and it is what it is. I asked for any kind of reimbursement for the damages and clean-up my wife and I had to do and he """"dropped"""" his price by $4000. This was only after the insurance company questioned his billing and estimate practices as well and negotiated on my behalf. I will NEVER use this company for anything and would NEVER recommend them for any type of work whatsoever! What an awful experience and a very valuable lesson.
