We highly recommend Hawaii Drain Pros! The guys that came to our house did a great job, were clean, conscientious, polite and just really good people. We have 2 homes on our property. We had a clogged sewer line to our back house on the weekend with both the toilet and bathtub filling with sewer water. I did a quick yelp check and found Hawaii Drain Pros. Jarin came out quickly, he was thorough, clean and did a great job using an industrial snake to clear the clog. After they were done Jarin recommended a process called descaling. In my terms they recommended grinding out all the junk in the pipes. I was skeptical, how convenient that the houses would need such work after a call for a clogged drain. But Jarin was able to show us pictures and you could see there was material in the pipes. Not only that but the houses were old and it was possible that some maintenance work was needed so we agreed and Jarin and a team came out and started the work in FEB2020. Once the descaling was done Jarin recommended a process called pipe lining. You could see in some of the pictures that the original cast iron pipe was degrading. There were bellies (dips) in the pipe and there were holes. While both the descaling and the pipe lining processes are not cheap the homes are over 54 years old. Funny you think about cleaning the windows, changing the screens, painting the house and redoing the roof but at least I never really thought about the maintenance of the sewer lines. If you look at the pictures you can see maintenance is important especially if you live in an older home. Then COVID hit. We did not know what was coming so we put the work on hold. We talked to Jarin and the owners who were understanding and said the delay was no problem. In August we felt more comfortable moving forward and gave them a call, they honored their original quote and we scheduled the pipe lining. They brought in John a specialist on their team in the pipe lining process. He was excellent! He carefully reviewed all the sewer pipe runs and planned out all of the pipe lining shots. I got to talking to John, he has tons of experience and he has a great story. He is a perfectionist and I felt that the Deven and Ashley, the owners expect that quality of work from their team. John mentioned how the Deven is setting up a training site for the workers. How John was helping the team learn new skills at the training site so they are better able to perform the specialized work when they get to a job. They brought in extra ABS pipe materials to our house, since they were already doing pipe lining they shot in the liner materials into the extra piping and were taking those parts back to the training site to practice the skills to cut the liner for the pipe joints. It was a commitment of both time and resources by the owners to their customers! Of course things came up. For us it was the run between the 2 houses. You can see in one of the pictures how bad the original pipes were clogged. The more permanent fix was to replace the sewer lines. While a bit more time it was pretty even in terms of costs. Thank you Deven! During some of the days they were here I was lucky enough to be working from home. The guys were patient with my questions and with me looking over their shoulders trying to understand the process and get a small bit of knowledge. After they finished the pipe lining they checked and replace some of the old outside hose bibs that they used around the house that started leaking because they used them for the first time in years. They completed the work in August. Three months later we have had no issues with all the drains working great! They have a great team! With Deven's vision one that will only get better. They have dedicated workers who are passionate about doing a great job and I got the feeling that they really cared about the customer. Jaron is a great field supervisor keeping things moving and organized, we appreciated his onsite leadership. Ryan while new, worked hard and recognizes that he has a great opportunity. If you ever need plumbing work we definitely recommend calling Hawaii Drain Pros!

We have called multiple plumber companies for the last week to try to get our slow/no draining tub fixed. When I called today, Hawaiian Drain Pro answered immediately and I let her know the issues and she said they could come in about half an hour. I was so thankful for the fast response and service. The sump pump in our basement quit working. Kawika from Hawaii Drain Pros showed up when they said he would and assessed the situation, gave us details and a recommended course of action, and there was no rush or pressure to get the job done with them right away. We got a quote from another company then called them to discuss our options. Kawika showed up promptly to take another look at the job and plan out his work, then returned the next morning and finished the job in less time than anticipated. We got a follow-up call and email to make sure we were satisfied with their work, and we most definitely are! We highly recommend them, and will not hesitate to use them again for our plumbing needs. Had to change out my water heater cause it was really old. Kekoa did a fantastic job at changing out my water heater. He went above and beyond to make sure that everything was done correctly and everything worked well before he left! Highly recommend this guy if you have any plumbing needs.

Clayton was amazing! I called with an emergency situation at 5 am, he was to talk me through steps until he arrived. He was able to calm me down when I was anxious about the water, answer any and all of my questions and fix the problem within 45 minutes. I cannot ask for a better technician and for better service. They were responsive and the plumber was good, but the pricing of the work felt excessive. Make sure you review their estimates closely prior to them doing the work. They replaced the emergency shut off to the refrigerator supply line and had to cut/resolder the pipe and that was priced reasonably due to the labor involved, but they also changed the supply line from the emergency water stop to the refrigerator and charged me $265 for what is a $20 part that fastens to existing connections on the shut off valve and refrigerator. It was also mislabled on my receipt as ""Replacement of Hot Water Supply Line from Emergency Water Stop to Dishwasher. Happy with the quality of the work but not the pricing and documentation. I'll take the hit on this one as I didn't do my due diligence but they will not be my first choice going forward.
