I contacted them to replace the cartridges in my shower valve. They were very responsive and scheduled a technician the next day. The technician reviewed all of my angle stops, fixtures, and checked my water pressure. He gave me options. I like options. I went with just repairing the shower valve. The technician, Clayton, was knowledgeable and professional. The work was done to my satisfaction.

I had a plumbing leak that needed immediate attention. Water was leaking from my second floor shower down to the first floor. I contacted HDP and they got back to me in just a few minutes...on a Sunday, which was impressive. They scheduled someone to come out that day. The plumber that showed up was named Frank. He was incredibly helpful. He diagnosed the problem in just a few minutes, and quickly figured out how to fix it. He also addressed other lingering problems that could leaks in the future. Overall he's one of the most professional and helpful people that I've worked with here in Hawaii. The service wasn't cheap, but it was completely worth it given that they fixed the issue on a Sunday, and had everything wrapped up on the same day that I contacted them.

Had a leak from my cold water line shut off valve that I discovered last week. Thought I had fixed it until another company came to install my dishwasher this past Friday and they showed me it was leaking again. I was going to wait until Monday to call that company since they did a great job and were very responsive, but when I woke up this morning I noticed the leak had gotten worse and the other company is closed on the weekends. That led me to find Hawaii Drain Pros on here. I requested a quote and got a text response pretty quickly followed by a phone call. Both of the women from the text and the phone were amazing and helpful. They were able to schedule a plumber to come a couple hours later. Frank was the plumber they sent and if all the other plumbers on their team are as good as he is, then the company is doing great things. He was very professional, explained everything very thoroughly and got to work right away. He was in and out in under an hour. Frank explained what he did to fix the issue again and had me test everything out before leaving. Couldn't have asked for a better response time and couldn't have asked for better service. This review is based on my 1st experience with HDP. From my first calls till the end, HDP was very responsive unlike other companies I've been trying to contact. It started with Racquel (hope that's how you spell her name) with customer service, very professional and informative. She definitely had made sure that all my concerns were answered before I decided to make an initial appointment with a technician. Just so you know, I had a clogged toilet that was barely flushing. My appointment was scheduled for the very next day as opposed to other comps that was not able to accommodate right away. The day of appt I got a call from HDP who informed me that a technician was available before my appointment time so I was cool about it since I needed this problem to be checked out already. I was told that Mana was the guy coming to check the job. That might be a nickname but his govt name is Kazdan Reis. He let us know the possible problems and gave us options to choose from. When I seen the prices I was immediately overwhelmed as the only option I could afford was the ""band aid"" fix. KR then proceeded with the job and it almost seemed hopeless but he seemed genuine in wanting to fix the issue. Lo and behold, after much effort he was able to get out the junk that was causing our slow flush. Thank you Jesus! Aye, it wasn't 100% fixed but I say maybe 80% which is a hell of a lot better than when it was at a 20% working condition. The 5 stars is for him and Racquel for their great service. If this was based on price, my rating would be 2 stars. Sometimes you get what you pay for right? Well, we were blessed and thankful to HDP for hiring great ppl to represent their company. Because of this experience, I would definitely call and recommend HDR. #supportlocal #mahalo
