ALL ALOHA PLUMBING TRIED TO RIP ME OFF In a nutshell: they quoted me $1,671 just for installing a 40 gallon electric water heater (bought by me, and already delivered); I had it installed for $195 including all fittings necessary, and including tax. I bought the water heater from Home Depot who said that a plumbing contractor would call me for the installation. All Aloha Plumbing called me before 8:00 am on a Sunday morning (which I found slightly rude) and made an appointment to take a look at where the heater should be installed. Ben came, took a look at the closet where the water heater would be installed, and told me that since the heater had already been drained, it would cost me less money. I asked him how long it would take for the installation, and he said ""two to three hours"". Then he took out a pad, wrote on it, and showed me a few options, including a ""standard"" one at $1,671 and a ""professional"" one (more expensive, at over $2,100, which of course he recommended). I told him that I found this over the top, as it made the hourly labor rate of the standard (and cheapest) installation, around $500 an hour (I made allowance for a few fittings), which I told him was prohibitive. To which Ben replied: ""I can tell you that we will do a very professional job. AND BESIDES, YOU REALLY NEED HOT WATER, DON'T YOU?"" To which I replied: ""Yes, I do, and because I really need hot water, I should pay THROUGH MY NOSE?"". This unsettled him. He said that he would talk to his boss and see what they can do. Just about an hour later, I received a new quote, for $1,252.35; a 25% discount from the first price they quoted (which they would have charged had I been as ignorant as they thought I would be), but STILL A COMPLETE RIP OFF! I found a HONEST contractor who did the job very well, in one hour and a half, for $195.00 including all fittings and tax. I have hot water, and I WILL NEVER BOTHER CALLING ALL ALOHA PLUMBING EVER AGAIN. I guess the people who give them many stars for good service have no idea of how much it should cost in the real world; but I see other people here who share my opinion of their level of honesty (i.e. it is in the basement!).

The service technician(Ray) did an excellent job. He was courteous and professional. He got the the repair work done quickly and he didn't leave any mess.

WARNING: Protect your $$$$$$ from All Aloha Plumbing. Unfortunately, everything I'm reading on the reviews about EXORBITANT PRICING is true. Their method of estimating feels like you're getting taken advantage of at a car dealership and not actually getting legitimate pricing for services. The technicians seem to be trained to give you an outrageous price and if you refuse to pay and say no thanks they negotiate down. Why are these prices negotiable in the first place? Shouldn't they just be fair? Be particularly weary of calling All Aloha in an emergency. Calling for emergency plumbing can be an anxious experience - unsure if you'll be price gauged during a vulnerable time. Companies like All Aloha Plumbing are responsible for that feeling. Now... if the quality of workmanship was equal to their pricing, there could be an argument. DO NOT EXPECT ANYTHING MORE THAN SUB-PAR INEXPERIENCED PLUMBERS. (The technician was very nice, no offense to them in particular, it's poor management that is responsible) All Aloha ""fixed"" an issue I was having and because they said they tested it a couple times, they considered it complete. It broke first thing next morning. I filled out one of their personal short surveys saying that I wasn't satisfied. I didn't even make any demands, but All Aloha called me to argue about my opinion. This makes me think the positive reviews on places like Yelp have nothing to do with actual customer satisfaction. Bottom line is that the problem wasn't fixed, it was poorly tested, and I paid an exorbitant cost to All Aloha for no resolution. They said the problem was I needed an additional, even more outrageously priced fix. That wasn't true. It wasn't true because I called Steve's Plumbing that day instead and they resolved the problem with the same simple, but this time thoroughly investigated, thoroughly tested solution. Steve's spent more than twice the amount of time making sure everything was done correctly. The entire experience with Steve's was different, I felt taken care of and not taken advantage of. And the pricing was almost half of All Aloha. In the end, All Aloha offered me $100 off the $225 dispatch fee (not the actual service, no... none of that was guaranteed). I was insulted and did not accept. Do better All Aloha, I wanted to like you.

Bad service no professional courtesy. Last year April of 2024 I contracted them to install a septic system on to my property. It's been almost a year and if not for me making first contact I would never heard from them. When I contacted them back in June they said the permit didn't go through that they would try doing an outhouse system. But never heard from them again.

I called this company because of all of the reviews. I had three simple fixes; a leaking toilet, a kitchen sink fix, and a clogged shower. Devin offered to ""rebuild "" the expensive Toto toilets, which wasn't needed. He took Cadillac parts and replaced them with Hyundai engine parts. He didn't fix the broken handles, and charged $500. each toilet. They are louder and use more water. He then tried to sell me a $700 kitchen sink faucet. On top of all of that, he told me my water heater was bad. He told me he could replace the rusty part, or replace it for the same price. Except all of his contracts are done on a computer. The water heater wasn't $420.; it was &4,000. So, the $1k job I needed was now $10k. I asked him for a copy of the water heater contract, and got a snapshot of my approval. He ended up taking $2k off of the price, but I still wouldn't recommend him. Predatory to say the least.

This company is very efficient and quick to respond to plumbing issues. Our toilet bowls were clogged in the middle of the night and there was no way we were going to be able to leave it that way over night. We called them and they were able to send someone immediately to take care of our issue. I would definitely give them a 5 star for an awesome job and the technician was extremely professional and polite even though it was late at night. We appreciate this company and they have certainly earned our business.

Borderline robbery. When they finish their service just hand them your wallet. Had them perform a simple toilet flapper and handle replacement job that would have taken me 10 minutes and costed $25 with home depot parts if I was in town. They never gave us an estimate just said that it is an easy fix and performed it. Billed us over $900 for it after it was completed. After trying to reason with them we ended up paying over $400, unbelievable. Could have bought a new toilet for less. Shop around before you commit anything.

We've had a longstanding relationship with All Aloha Plumbing. While the end results are usually professional, getting there has been far from smooth. Their pricing is consistently exorbitant, and dealing with their team is often unpleasant. To top it off, they've charged our credit card without consent on multiple occasions. They typically offer three repair options, but the cheapest one is almost guaranteed to fail within days. Choosing this option not only costs you more in the long run but also leaves you feeling belittled, despite it being far from cheap. It feels like they've created a system designed to extract excessive amounts of money from their customers. Our most recent experience involved replacing a sump pump. We supplied the pump ourselves, yet they still quoted $1,700 for less than an hour of work. On top of that, we were charged $460 to replace a simple floater and flap in the bathroom--work that should have cost no more than $150-200 and took less than 15 minutes. They also reconnected a recirculating hot and cold water pump, which didn't work properly afterward. When I called to ask them to come back and fix it, they told me they were no longer interested in working with me. We tried reaching out via email, but no one responded. On top of everything, their contract includes a clause preventing customers from leaving a negative review, under the threat of being sued and taken to court. This is the first bad review I've ever written, but it's the second poor experience we've had with this company. As a business owner myself, I feel it's my responsibility to warn others. With my elderly mother present on the property, they clearly saw an easy target. ------------------------- **UPDATE** ------------------------- Now, I know long reviews can come across as a little dramatic, but trust me--you're in for some entertainment. After posting this review, I received a false reply from the owner, claiming he had been at my house for 7 hours (even though my security system shows they were at my property for barely 3 hours in total over 2 days) and that I had reversed the charges on my credit card, neither of which is true. They also denied charging my card without consent, but I have text messages proving I asked them not to charge it, as I wanted to use a different card, and they did it anyway (this happened the last time they serviced my house).

Gerald Agdinaoay and his assistant came and completed the job on my toilet that I requested in a timely manner. The completed job was excellent and to my liking. This is the second time I have used All Aloha Plumbing's services within a year's time and thus far I have been happy with their work. Mahalo, Bill Melton

What a joke. Started out well, responsive, low dispatch fee. I just wanted water heater replaced and new faucets and some new valves for the faucets. Wanted $4k to install new water heater and $1700 just to install a water heater that I provided. What a joke. Replacing faucet was $2k. I honestly feel offended that they made me pay their dispatch fee after wasting my time like this. Refuse to give pricing info (even ballpark) prior to coming on site (which I sorta respect the challenge of). Never been so disappointed with pricing practices working with dozens of contractors in past.
