Established in 1980, Alison Service Company began its journey as an electrical contractor with a focus on electrical wiring for retail and residential locations. In 1991, we were contacted by a national retail maintenance company to offer electrical services to retailers throughout Southern California.

As time went on, we began performing other maintenance and repair services besides electrical contracting. Through experience and understanding our clients, we broadened our range of services. The need for more services encouraged us to acquire both a general contractor's and plumbing license in addition to our electrical contracting license.

Before I was born, my Father opened his own business as an electrical contractor in the Covina area. Once we were able to handle a hammer, he took my siblings and me to his job locations. I cherish memories of discovering bits of wiring and conduit, creating ""art"" with my siblings to stay occupied while our father worked.

We grew up with him leaving family functions to tend to emergencies, constant phone calls and meetings, and of course late work nights. Even though he was always busy, he was heavily involved in our lives, coaching our sports teams, making every play and being there when we needed him most.

After I finished high school, my father was assisting both residents and commercial clients in the San Diego region. I made the move to San Diego and began my journey as my father's assistant. My responsibilities included assembling ceiling fans, installing outlets, wiring recessed lighting, and taking care of his scheduling and invoicing. Today, my siblings and I are at the helm and couldn't be happier.
