Established in 1980, Alison Service Company began its journey as an electrical contractor with a focus on electrical wiring for retail and residential locations. In 1991, ASC was approached by a national retail maintenance company to provide electrical services to retailers across Southern California.

As time went on, we began performing other maintenance and repair services besides electrical contracting. As we gained expertise and got to know our clients, we diversified our trades. The request to provide more services led us to obtain a general contractor's and plumbing license in addition to our electrical contracting license.

Long before I arrived, my father started his own electrical contracting business in Covina. As soon as we could wield a hammer, he brought me, my older sister, and younger brother to his work sites. I cherish memories of discovering bits of wiring and conduit, creating ""art"" with my siblings to stay occupied while our father worked.

We grew up with him leaving family functions to tend to emergencies, constant phone calls and meetings, and of course late work nights. Even though he was always busy, he was heavily involved in our lives, coaching our sports teams, making every play and being there when we needed him most.

Upon graduating high school, my father was providing services to residents and businesses in San Diego. I relocated to San Diego and started working as my father's assistant. I handled tasks like assembling ceiling fans, installing outlets, wiring recessed lighting, and managing his scheduling and invoicing. Today, my siblings and I are at the helm and couldn't be happier.
