I called Algozini Plumbing because my kitchen sink was leaking. They responded quickly, even though the repair was not an emergency. They immediately complied with my building's paperwork requirements (not an easy task!), and the work was done right away and well. The price was reasonable and the employees pleasant and accommodating.

These guys are the nicest and most knowledgeable in all of NYC! I had an emergency plumbing situation in my bathroom shower and within minutes, despite this time being one of their busiest seasons, two Algozini guys showed up and quickly resolved my issue. Algozini is just the best! Today Jason Algozini and Steve removed the damaged bathroom sink, then installed the new basin and faucet. The basin sits on a pedestal. They have to be the most honest and pleasant people I have spoken to in the plumbing business. if in fact any commercial service. Their work was clean and they were efficient. They are a neighborhood family business, a rarity in this day and age. I am grateful to the first person who posted Algozini. You can absolutely trust this referral on Yelp. Thank you Yelp.

Always prompt, very good plumber, has been able to solve almost every issue we've called about. Where he couldn't (we thought it was the pipes but it was the pump in the dishwasher) he didn't charge us. Nice crew of guys working for him too.
He's located on the UES so can get here really fast in emergencies.

George is my neighbor so maybe I'm a little biased, but he is a great plumber. He helped me with a sewage problem I was having at my house... He was super friendly and knowledgeable. When I saw the sewage backed up in my basement, I thought the worst. George not only fixed the problem, but showed me how to fix it myself if it ever happens again. Working in the city, and being a tradesman myself, I've worked with/around many plumbers over the years... With that being said, George is the only plumber I'd recommend, period.

George & his crew are great plumbers & great guys!! I had my bathroom & kitchen gut renovated, and they did such quality work & were done in a flash!! Plus, they're the long-time, family business in the neighborhood, so that's even more of a reason to call them. How they manage to keep smiling, after staring down toilets all-day, every-day is amazing!! :)

I have had to call Algozini twice over the years and both times it was a wonderful experience, or at least as wonderful as problems with your toilet can be. They returned my call quickly, came to my apartment in a timely manner (today even earlier than they estimated), and handled my issue professionally. All the while explaining to me what went wrong in a kind, non patronizing way. If you need a plumber, definitely call these guys
