Melissa R.When the owner of the business saw my review on Yelp, he was kind enough to call me and inform me he did listen to the call and agreed with me 100% that his receptionist did treat me rude. He informed me he had a talk with her and handled the situation. He stated he values his business, as it does have his name. I appreciated him calling me because it shows he cares and values his business.
Used Alford Plumbing a few months back for a leaking shower. It started leaking again along with the one downstairs. I waited about 5 days for an appointment, was told they would arrive between 11-1. While they showed up a little after 1 I was called and told when they would be heading my way and when they were on the way which was nice. The two gentlemen were extremely kind and friendly and I felt safe having them in my home. They fixed the problem upstairs and only charged for time, and fixed the downstairs as well. Very happy with the services and professionalism/friendliness. They were also kind to my dog even when he was running around everywhere. :)
We really enjoyed our experience! Ryley was very professional and informative. Our home had some leaking issues from two faucets and a toilet post our tenants moving out in which our rental agency unfortunately did not follow up with. We called them on Friday and they were able to come out on Monday morning (leaks weren't an emergency). They took pictures of the before and after and provided those to me in a digital receipt. They described everything they were doing and explained it to where we could understand. Highly recommend them for any plumbing needs!
Shaun B.There wasn't many plumbing companies that had any reviews, which is honestly why I went with Alford Plumbing - since they had a few. Not only were they able to come out same day, but two employees came out to handle a simple clog that I couldn't seem to locate.
The biggest thing that stood out to me about them is that they took a picture of the problem, and it seems all the prices are 'standard' via the tablet they carried.
There was no prices that he had to think up off the top of his head or that he had to call into the office to see how much he should charge.
Their software/tablet seemed to have the 'standard prices' already configured in.
Their truck also had numerous accessories - which was convenient when I wanted to replace a few cosmetic things without them having to run and go get it at a store.
Professional, clean, even had those little throwaway shoe covers - will definitely use again.
Holly C.Excellent service. They arrived within an hour of my call and had the drain unclogged and a pipe replaced in less than 45 minutes. Both gentleman were polite and gave an accurate quote prior to making the repairs. Highly recommend.
No better plumber in Clarksville. Danny Alford is a great guy and his plumbers all provide great service. They installed my Rennai tankless water heater, and have done numerous other jobs at both of my homes in Clarksville over an 18 year period. What else can I say, but superior, professional, and friendly service always.
Since moving to Clarksville, TN, we've used the services of Alford Plumbing for several different jobs. Their employees always arrive on time and are properly equipped for the task, are knowledgeable about the work needed to fix the problem, clean the worksite upon completion, and the cost is within the quoted budget. The personnel on the last job were Kyle and Keith. Very satisfied and would definitely use their services again and we're happy to recommend Alford Plumbing.
If I could give more stars, I would. We had a little bit of a mystery problem with our plumbing. Alford Plumbing came out, took their time to find what the problem was, and they found it. We had another company come out prior, they claimed it was just a clog and they fixed it, this was not the case. Alford Plumbing didn't leave until they found the cause and fixed it. They were also priced well. We've used them now a couple of times. Their employees are all class acts and thorough, cant say enough good things about Alfords team.
We called this company to come out to look at a pipe that was leaking underneath our house in the crawl space. When the plumber arrived he assumed that it was my outside faucet that was cracked from leaving the hose hooked up. He quoted me to replace the part without even looking at where the leak was coming from. I informed him that I hadn't used that in months and the leak was underneath the house and not from the faucet itself. He ended up going into the crawlspace to look at it and came out saying it wasn't the faucet at all but a tube that was leaking (which we already knew). If I had no knowledge of where the leak was I would've ended up paying $270 replacing a part that was in perfect working condition and still had a leak underneath my house. Next time you should maybe take the time to examine the problem before assuming people don't know what they're talking about.
Donghua S.We have used Alford's for almost all our plumbing projects. The company receptionist, owner and all the employees with whom we have had contact are professional and courteous. They have recommended fixtures and appliances, all of which have turned out to be great and long lasting. The prices are reasonable and the service excellent.
