We first hired Alfaros Plumbing back in 2012 to take care of all of the plumbing needs of our new home. We remodeled the bathrooms including the installation of a new tub and sink in one and a shower and sink in the other. We also needed to add an outdoor, underground drainage pipe to remove excess rain water that collected near the house (yes, it use to rain in Southern California). Alfaros Plumbing did an outstanding job and met all of the necessary codes that passed inspection. We've continued to call on Alfaros Plumbing for other plumbing needs. They resolved a water backup issue in our kitchen sink and washing machine by changing the old galvanized pipes to copper and rerouting them appropriately. They installed new hardware for the washer's water valve and when the work was completed, repaired and painted the hole in the wall created to access the pipes. It was just like new. Douglas Alfaro, the owner was always present on the job and had a friendly, skilled and professional crew. He provided clear details on the work that needed to be done and offered a very affordable and fair price. Knowing that we were new homeowners back in 2012, Douglas took the time to explain key features of our home such as the emergency shut off gas valve and more. If I could give Alfaros Plumbing six stars, I would. Douglas Alfaro is a first-rate plumber: a master of his craft and creative thinker. Equally important, he is easygoing and a great communicator. He re-piped our architectural home, which presented a number of challenges that he handled with patience, care and confidence. Some plumbers find problems and cause stress. Douglas and his able crew find solutions and allow you to relax. In my experience, his rates are fair and straightforward, especially given how happy we've been with his work.
