We always hope the best plumbers are licensed professionals who charge reasonable prices, arrive on time, are neat, and communicate clearly.  Jorge and his assistant met all those hopes when they quickly repaired a leak we found in the ceiling.  They are really good and honest guys. Our kitchen sink hose under the sink burst and water sprayed everywhere. I turned off the water main and first thing in the morning I called Alfa Plumbing. They came out first thing this morning and within the hour fixed the plumbing (rusted out pipes), installed new hoses and cleaned out the debris in pipes.

This is the 2nd time I've used Alfa Plumbing. They respond immediately and fixed the problem right then and there. Not only that, but the 2nd hose was on its way to bursting so they replaced that as well.

I'll never use another plumber as long Alfa Plumbing is available. Responsive, rapid service and reasonably priced. Thank you

Jorge is sooo nice, honest, and helpful. He responds very quickly even after hours.

It's clear his primary motivation is to help. For example, I heard a significant leak after 6 pm. He called back almost immediately and walked me through several scenarios until we isolated and stopped the leak. It's outside and he mentioned I can probably fix it myself or ask a gardener to help. He basically helped me after hours for free! I've worked with many plumbers of the years with old houses in Berkeley. Jorge is clearly the best!

We had Alfa plumbing come out to trace a tricky leak in our walls. Jorge responded to our request extremely quickly and was able to set an appointment for the next day in the morning. Job ended up requiring a lot of troubleshooting to locate the source of the leak and Jorge and his helper were diligent and committed to getting the job done. Very fair for the amount of time they were onsite tracing and fixing the leak, and will be my go-to now for future jobs!

I called on Alfa after I tried (and failed) to install a Toto bidet. The toilet was just a super challenging setup. Jorge and his team were excellent to work with and kept at it even after it seemed like the project was a bust. In fact, a second van came with the owner (Jorge) and the team of two worked through it together, troubleshooting and fixing issues as they arose. They were really cool about the hole thing and refused a higher payment at the end. So far, super impressed with all I've seen from these guys with everything from communication responsiveness to cleanup at the end.

We had Alfa Plumbing repipe our house, replacing fifty-year old galvanized steel pipes with copper. Jorge and team did the job they said they were going to do at the price they quoted, were courteous, and cleaned up everything after they were done. I went with Alfa Plumbing because at the initial visit, Jorge's diagnosis was more comprehensive than the other prospective plumbers. He was also very honest about where the problems were and what he would have to do to resolve them. I'm very glad I chose them. They do excellent work.

Jorge responded to my text regarding a plugged sink in five minutes. He was able to arrive at my home in 45 minutes. A half hour later the sink was draining perfectly. He even showed me what I should do we're the problem to reoccur. Great service, great rates. Needless to say he is our new plumber!

Jorge is the ONLY plumber I will use. We've called him several times to fix leaks on our 100 year old house as well as install an automatic shutoff valve on our gas meter.
Jorge is honest, which is the most important thing you want from someone working on your house. He's given us great advice about installing equipment in our house and I trust him 100%. His prices are very reasonable and he's just an all around nice guy. I'm so glad I met Jorge. Best plumber ever!

Our water main from the meter to the house was leaking. Called Jorge, he was out the next day to do a diagnosis and estimate. Gathered estimates from 4 others. Jorge was by far the most thorough and knowledgeable of the people I talked with. He could not do the job until the following week, but he came back early Friday morning to shut off the leaky main. He rerouted another working water line so that we could keep water over the weekend; genius! Jorge and his team completed the job the following Monday. Looks and works great. They take pride in their work and are very honest about what should and should not be done.
