They came on the same day we called, fixed our broken pipe perfectly and quickly, added a small piece of equipment we didn't even know we needed (free of charge), and even kept the noise down because our daughter was napping. We were required to replace the sewer lateral for our place in Albany within a year of buying the property and as time drew near we gathered quotes from 3 different services. We like to work with local companies and feel very fortunate that Jorge was able to work with us from Alfa. Jorge gave us a very reasonable initial estimate that ended up being right on target with the work that was done. He explained the steps they would take, got the work done in one day, with a short follow up later to meet with the city inspector. He helped with the paperwork required by the city. He definitely earned our trust and respect through his professional and personable manner. Later, when we had an leaky pipe issue with our washer/dryer, we were so glad that he was available to work with us again. Couldn't be happier with Jorge!

My one handle faucet was leaking water underneath the cabinet and it was getting worse. After calling four other plumbers from recommendations and Yelp reviews who were too busy, I called Jorge. He was the only one I got on the phone that asked me about the problem and SOLVED THE PROBLEM OVER THE PHONE free of charge! I will be doing a major remodel on my house and he is going to be the first one I will ask to do the plumbing job. Fantastic service!

Jorge made time to come by to check out our broken sump pump. It had been running non stop. After some poking around, he made a quick fix. Free of charge but gave us recommendations on what to look out for and whether we need to replace it. Service can't be beat. And if we do need to replace it, you can bet who we will be calling.

I would give Jorge a 10 star if I could. Why because I called him in the morning and he came to me in the afternoon even with his busy day. I have a problem under my sink and he fixed it in great time and don't try to rip me off this price was great. He had his own shoe covers and covers for my floor and was without saying anything very respectful of my house. Great service and super work. This for sure is a great business man I will be telling my friend for sure.

Jorge just installed a Toto toilet; I saw what looked like a leak from the 1975 one, which he determined was caused by the installer of the new floor a year ago, who did not properly ""stack"" it to make up for the difference between the heights of linoleum and tile. Jorge spent a lot of time on email patiently answering my questions. He recommend this toilet (I have no interest in searching for toilets), installed it quickly and efficiently and then pointed out I could get a $50 rebate from EBMUD because of less water use, even showing me the site. I did not comparison shop but the price seemed fair.

He is one of many immigrants to California who keeps this state so vibrant culturally and economically. I would not normally mention this - but as a former prof I could not help but notice that his job invoice, detailing exactly what he did, was written in perfect English! (I appreciate having such records.) Native-born Americans seldom write perfectly. This is one smart guy.

And don't forget extraordinary service and polite business dealings.
