I have been using Alexander's Plumbing for years! They have always done a exceptional job!! I had an emergency with water pouring into our finished basement. Donnie was here within an hour! I can't thank all of the friendly staff and Donnie enough! Donnie was so meticulous, clean and respectful! Thank you, thank you and thank you again!

We had clog and backed up sewer. Came promptly when scheduled. Workers were friendly, answered questions and cleared sewer. We had to have tree roots removed and our bill is what we expected. Very happy they took monthly payments for we are on fixed income. Very pleased all around.

I called Alexanders the week of Oct 14 2024 for a rental property where the water stopped running. I have been working with Chuck Alexander for the better part of 8 years and the service has been top notch. Without so much as a phone call back from Alexanders this time which, they always called before to discuss the issue, I received a bill for $2300 as they replaced the well pump. I called to discuss this with them and told them I wanted to put a limit on my account of $500 without a call. I told them they didn't call this time and the price was alarming. I was told I need to discuss this with my renter. The renter never had anything to do with this except letting me know the water wasn't running. Ashley was quite rude and apparently tired of taking phone calls like this. Instead of sounding concerned and listening to my suggestions about calling clients to discuss the issue and cost she cut me off and told me the company had been sold 6 months ago and they have no access to any old records so... I informed her the policy of calling is client relations and if they are not willing to do that, I will look for another...click. Nice, nothing like hanging up on someone who hasn't paid their bill yet....

Liars and thieves, done work in Maryland and they're not licensed at all in MD for anything, they have been reported to several departments that are now investigating and have the invoices to prove they did the work in Maryland. Conlin Sanders Installed a water softener at Antrim that don't even work the owner claims nothing was wrong yet 6-8 month it's used no salt but it working... WRONG Installed pot sink that leaked the next day. Would not come back to fix it... SHADY The owner, daughter ASHLEY Sanders, his son in law ADAM SANDERS Who got fired from Antrim that he was working at, they are all covering this up and all the issues they have created at this property, they have done all this work and is a very shady business.
Lawyers are involved and this business will pay every dollar back that was paid to them. They will have to pay a MD license plumber to now go over everything they have touched and fix.

We called Alexander's on a recommendation from The Chamber of Gettysburg & Adams County and Chuck came out to our home to complete a water analysis. Our water tested at a 14 (7 is considered hard water). Chuck recommended a water conditioner and we had the system installed by Eric. Throughout the entire process, Alexander's was professional, communicative, and up front about costs and installation! Since we had our water conditioner installed, our water tastes better and some lingering skin conditions have completely subsided. Thank you Chuck and Eric for being a trusted local source for water needs!

Late last summer my garbage disposal quit working and since this business is located very close to my home, thought I would give them a try. I called and was told that a new one could be installed and the cost would be approximately $150.00. The work was done and I received a bill for $258.75. I wasn't happy but I paid it. 2 days ago the disposal stopped working. I had the old one for about 10 years and this one just lasted thru the 1 year limited warranty. Over charged and poor quality equipment installed. Wouldn't call them again if they were my next door neighbors!! Should have read the Yelp reviews first!

These are not your best bet for a good Plummer. They will do a poor job and they will over charge you. In an emergency I called them for my water heater because they installed it ten years ago. It was a big mistake. Needless to say, according to them, it had to be replaced but I would have to wait three days. So no hot water for those three days. They could not have cared less! They promised to get it it installed first thing by 9 am. Four hours later they showed up and improperly installed it. I have to have it reinstalled by another Plummer. By the way they charged me $400 for just 2 hours of labor. If that isn't gouging - what is? Be smart, don't call these people.

like being cheated and screwed? Feel like having to have hire another plumber to repair the job that you hired Alexanders to do? If so call Alexanders and ask for Chuck for that is what will happen when you call this company! New to the area and had an issue with our plumbing. Chuck was fast to show up and tell us what the issue was (pretty obvious) but that is when the headache began! Chuck tells us he has to go to the shop for a part that he did not have on his truck and will return in 30 minutes or so. Well 2 hours later and a few phone calls a truck (marked alexanders) pulls into the driveway! 2 guys step out that are NOT Chuck and that is when the episode of 3 stooges started! The 2 guys Chuck sent to do the repair had NO CLUE on what the issue was or how to repair it! They were asking ME, yes the customer what ""Chuck said and how was he going to fix it so they could do it for him since he was unable to return to the job himself"" I knew at the moment this was not going to turn out well. I will say these 2 guys went back and forth with me and i told them to get Chuck on the phone and they did at least 4 or 5 times while chain smoking cigarettes in my presence and then flicking the butts in my yard which I found later after they left! These guys had NO CLUE how to fit a simple issue and in fact made the issue much worse then it was by not repairing it properly. I had to hire another contractor who was actually honesty with me and told me that the problem could not be fixed and the system needed to be REPLACED to correct all of Alexanders plumbing mistakes! Now here is the kicker! After all of this took place I called Chuck and explained that his repair did not work and he said it would and that my system needed to be replaced since his guys damaged it beyond repair! His reply was ""tough and take it or leave it"". I was told that if I did not pay his outrageous bill of 500.00 he would take it to court. I explained to him that his ""repair"" did not work and that I needed to spend a lot more to actually replace the system that his guys damaged beyond repair and that I was willing to compromise but not for the full amount! I got no where still! I will say this. If you are in need of repairs PLEASE call someone else! I am trying to help you avoid the headache that I had to deal with. This company is only out for the almighty dollar and can careless if they fix the job right or not! Plenty of other HONEST, DEPENDABLE contractor's in Adams County that will do the job and treat you with respect!
