Alexander was great at first and punctual at first. I did have a unique situation. After no one answered phones, I did finally get an answer and she took a message, many calls later not one estimate! If the job couldn't be done at least call and explain this!

Long story, short (Yes, this is the SHORT version!): After hearing a moaning noise inside my home that seemed to get louder and more frequent each day, especially in the evenings, I finally called a plumbing service. I Figured the moaning had to be water pipes because I had tracked the sound to my exterior pipes next to our guest room. They would actually vibrate at times. The guy (plumber?) came out, checked flows, pressure pulsations, etc. and told me he'd never experienced such a thing, called his boss who was no help, and that I should call my water utility company. Charged me $80 for a service fee and left.

Moans in the house (especially late at night) got worse, my newly purchased pressure gauge showed major spikes as well as a wide range of pressure pulsation. So I called the utility and they sent a guy out who scratched his head and told me to call a plumber. Hmmm. I tried to call a local plumber here in the Florence area but he never would commit to come by. I explained about the moaning, pressure spikes above 100psi and pressure pulsations. He suggested my gauge was faulty. After two calls and excuses at his end, I gave up on him. Guess he thought I was nuts and blew me off when I told him about the moaning noise.

I spotted Alexander's van a few blocks from my home while out on a walk so went home and called the number on his van. His wife, Paula answered the phone, was extremely professional and incredibly efficient, contacted Alex and he came by the house within the hour. No sanity check was required. He was friendly, looked over the situation, eliminated the obvious, and suggested we install a new water valve adjuster. Next morning he was out with the valve adjuster, installed it and said to let him know if that didn't resolve my haunted house issue. It's been a week now and no moaning. Problem solved.

Alex is now my ""go to plumber"" and I will recommend him to anyone asking my opinion. Its a family run business and not some large outfit advertising on the Web that sends out less than knowledgeable help disguised as plumbers.

Very professional, punctual and friendly. He got here and went to work, he assessed the problem and went to it. Had all his own tools and safety equipment. Let us know how he would fix the problem and did it. Only reason I'm not giving a 5 star is the price. But, it was after hours so I guess I have to take that into consideration. But by all means awesome company and people.

Alex to the rescue! Came home to a leaking water heater on a Saturday afternoon. Called Alexander plumbing and from phone call to work completed it was about 5 hrs! Again, on a Saturday afternoon! I was able to send pictures of the broken water heater so he could assess the situation and bring the correct unit for replacement. He kept me updated before arriving to the house. Very professional and courteous. Amazing customer service.

I panicked when my garbage disposal died and water wasn't draining. I asked on Facebook for a plumber recommendation and immediately Paula came to the rescue! I ended up calling Alex and he was so nice. He tried walking me through it over the phone to see if I could fix it, but it was as too far gone. I LOVED that they offered this. I knew right then that this company wasn't just out for my money. The very next morning Alex came by. Super friendly, caring and clean. He had fresh little booties to place over his shoes to keep the floors clean. Greeted me with a smile and his business card. He fixed my sink and got me an even more powerful disposal. He was even nice enough to disconnect and disassemble my RO (per my request) AND fixed my toilet problem!! All in one visit! This meant the world to me and lifted a ton of weight off my shoulders. Cleaned up everything he did perfectly and showed me how to use everything. Offered to come back if any problems. He took precise care to his work so that the outcome was perfect. Did I mention how nice and caring he was? Thank you guys SOOO much. You will be the first and only plumbing company I will use.

I can't attest to the plumbing skills or service, but if it is anything like the interaction I just had with this company I certainly wouldn't want Alex or his employees in my house. We were just driving down Chandler blvd with a red light ahead. Apparently not going fast enough for Alex in truck #34 who was anxious to speed up to the red light. In doing so he cut us off almost clipping the front of the truck enough that we had to brake to avoid contact, then swerved back over to the other lane, that was empty the whole time anyway. Clearly he was upset enough to purposely swerve to cut off another vehicle unnecessarily instead of continuing on down the road.
When calling the number on the van he rudely answered the phone obviously knowing who it would be stating ""are you the guy in the truck gallivanting? Are you just cruising or are you driving""? He then denied that he was the owner of the company stating the phones were just forwarded to his line. With just a little research I see the owner of this small business is the one cutting people off on the road because he's having a bad day and then is confrontational when the number on the side of the van is called.

Advertisement on the side of the vans isn't positive if the experience is negative such as this was.

Alexander's Plumbing is amazing. They are quick, efficient, clean and very professional. They will educate you on what the problem is and give you honest advice about the best solution. When Alex leaves your house or business you will have the peace of mind that your plumbing issue was solved by a competent and trustworthy professional.

Where do I begin? First, I got in contact with Paula. Paula and I chatted a bit about my plumbing issues and needs and I have to say that Paula was very pleasant. In no way was she pushy like some others out there are. Thanks Paula!

The Service:

When Alex arrived, one of the first things I noticed besides him having a smile on his face, he had a business card in one hand and the other hand out stretched to shake mine and greet me. For once I was not the one having to introduce myself first when having a service company come over. He even arrived during the time frame that I was told he would.

When Alex came in, he listened to what I've done and what I needed done and he then told me exactly how he would fix it and the costs. No hidden fees, etc.

Alex got the work done quickly and efficiently. He even took the time to talk to me like a person and not like ""Just another Customer"" who wanted to get to know him and his business a little. And Alex even took the time when he was done to answer a couple of other plumbing questions that were not related to the current task at hand and he also was nice enough to give some pointers on my Water Softener care, etc.

All in all, Alex and Paula provided me with GREAT Service all around. If I ever need another plumbing related issue fixed, I for sure will be calling upon Alexanders Plumbing.
