This was one of the first times we have used a contractor, and Alex made it easy! He was open and honest with his quotes, and mindful of the potential troubles...which helped us know we were dealing with a professional. To date, he has done two projects with us (a new doorway and associated stucco work), and we've been very pleased with the results. I will keep this to the facts, but let me start by saying I have been working with Home improvement services for over 20 years in personal and rental properties so with some level of competencies I can honestly say the following:


Quote - Very competitive, plus he was THE ONLY ONE that honestly told me I did not need all the work I thought I needed. Big points for his honesty! And out of the three quotes I got (all off yelp) he was the first to get back with me, some never even called me back I had to chase them.

Work done - Completely demo and remove sun room, re-route and ground electrical, rebuild kitchen cabinets / drawers. Re-vamp sprinkler system (this is where I told him I had leaks, and he let me know I did not I just need to have the valves worked on...yeah the only one to say that).

Quality - Outstanding! excellent craftsmanship, form the demo to the finish work in the kitchen to the electrical (being a LICENSED contractor, this is the only person when dealing with work) all done just perfect! PLUS ALL THE WORK COMPLETED IN ONE DAY!!!

Alex - I cannot say enough nice things about Alex, he is professional, nice, puts you at ease, and really make you feel that you are dealing with a true craftsman. Alex has earned my complete trust.

Overall, Alex Shaw is the only improvement service / handyman service I would ever recommend to my family and friends.

Alex has all the tools needed to get the job done. Not Bly is he qualified he is also LICENSED. He has done plumbing, electrical, framing and finish work for me. He can do tile work and even lay hard wood floors. I Ong had to call one company to do all the work. Thanks Alex.
