We had a semi-emergency in the kitchen. Alert was the only one to pick up and get someone out within the hour. Ruben came by about 40 minutes after we called and the issue fixed in about 45 minutes.

Ruben was extremely friendly, courteous, and did a very good and quick job. He was also very clean and was very careful around the kitchen.

I'd highly recommend Alert Plumbing and especially Ruben.

I have had their service a couple of times in the past, never a problem. But I guess their service have gone south.

I had an appointment from 8AM to 9AM, no show or no call to let me know they will be late. I called back close to 9AM to check up, the technician said he is on the say and will be there shortly by 9:15AM. By 9:30AM, still no show. I called back and now they told me van broke down. I understand van can break down and thing can happen, but isn't this a basic courtesy to let your customer that you will be late. It doesn't make sense for me to have to follow up twice.

Then first thing the technician tells me as soon he arrived was that the job is $250 but he will give it to me for $200. $200 was what I was quoted when I made the appointment. Then when I called back to speak to the customer service, and I was told the price is $202.50 and she will give it to me for $200. Excuse me. How did the price all of a sudden goes up and then comes down to my quoted price as a special discount for being late?

Late without giving a heads up is already bad enough, but dishonest is just a no go.

their company vehicle was parked on my street, so instead of calling, i approached the man and told him about the problem i needed fixing. He seemed to know what he was talking about. so i asked him if he could help me and what the cost would be.

he gave me a price saying i would have to call the company so they could set it up. then he asked if i had cash. i told him i could get cash, he then gave me a cash price, took down my number and said he would be back in an hour.

the man never came, and he never called. a complete waste of my time.

Ruben's team at Alert Plumbing has just helped us on re-piping the cold and hot water line, and they changed a new sewer line for us as well. They are very professional and nice to work with. Ruben also helped us found the two blockages between the drain in our house and the city's, and replaced a new one for us. They completed this big project for us timely with 35-year warranty. If some thing happens, Ruben promised me they would come and fix it within 2 days. They have done a great job. I really appreciate it!

Danny Ochoa has given us great service. He did a copper repipe of our home, as well as replaced the sewer line to the street, and everything was done satisfactorily and on time.

He also did sewer line replacement for our church, and whenever we had questions or needed him to come and check on something, he always came right out.

He's not like some contractors who, after he is paid, you can never get a hold of him again. Danny is a true professional, taking pride in his work. I cannot recommend him enough.

This plumbing company is beyond excellent! They are a family-owned business, and they are professional and efficient and reasonable! They go beyond the call of duty to help you and explain what they are doing. They are hard-working and very knowledgeable. I recommend this company without reservations!!

They came out to do the work and although they promised to leave the wall paint ready it was not done the first time. The tech also left dirty, oily marks on the door frame. The came out the second time and still the wall was not paint ready. After that they hounded us to make payment even before the job was complete and have yet to get them to send us a copy of the invoice after 30 days. I would have to think long and hard to do business with this company again. Ruben talks well but he does not follow through with his promises.

We called Alert yesterday. I have a small 30G water heater that was not working. My handyman who had come to work on some other stuff the previous day looked at it and
said that the heating filament was broken. I picked up a new heating filament from a hardware store and called Alert to get a ""professional plumber"" to replace the filament.
I mentioned to the dispatcher - clearly what needed to be done.

Ray shows up. 1* for - showing up. When he finds out that this is at the most a 15 min job - he starts whining, whining and whining. ""replacing the filament might not fix it"" ""its a old water heater"" ""you should replace the water heater"" - ""its a waste of my time to to just replace the filament"" and on and on an on.

15min to replace it and 45 min of complaining. Says it will cost $250 !!!! He finally brow beat us to pay $150.

Will never use them again.
