I want to highly recommend Alert Plumbing. Danny is a life saver. I called to have them come replace cartridges in Price Pfister bathtub faucets. When he went to shut off the water the water would not shut off. Also he found a gas leak. He cancelled his other appointments and took most of the day getting parts and fixing the issues. He showed me all the leaks and issues. He was also very reasonable about the pricing. I will definitely use again and would highly recommend.

We want to highly recommend Alert Plumbing (408-272-1423), a family business in the Berryessa district. Our old water heater completely failed, flooding our garage on a Friday night. While other plumbers were closed for the weekend, Alert Plumbing came out on Saturday to walk us through purchasing and installing a new water heater. They were very patient, and kindly helped us return and swap a water heater that turned out to be defective when we opened the box from Home Depot. Their prices were very reasonable. And we even got a rusted water main valve replaced by them on the same day. Kudos to the plumbers, Jesse and Jose.

Highly recommend Ruben and his crew! He's experienced, honest, and fair. We contacted him (after he was referred to us from a good friend) for a 2nd opinion on an island sink install (as part of a major kitchen remodel) that our General Contractor said couldn't be done...AND Ruben made it happen!
Fast forward to another issue we had, we discovered a leak in our walls caused by rodents biting through a drain and Ruben handled it like the pro he is! Came in, gave us an honest assessment as to the alternatives, and an unbeatable quote! Would totally refer him to those looking for a plumber and definitely use him for any other plumbing needs!

Danny's great. He'll work with you on pricing and payments, and does great work. I'm sorry if you need a plumber, but if you do, it might as well be a great guy like Danny. I ran into him at a bar once and he even bought me a drink!

Danny and Jesse came out to help install my Buoy flow meter and leak detection device. They arrive in the window they prescribed, and assessed the project. Unfortunately they had an emergency to attend to and they were polite and asked if it was ok to help them first. They were in contact the whole time and made sure I knew when to expect them. Their solution was innovative and pragmatic. The work done was excellent, and I've done metalwork in another life before. Danny has the skills. Unfortunately, the part they bought had a pinhole in it and started leaking after installation. Undaunted, Danny and Jesse solved the problem and replaced and rebrazed the piping in 45 min. The main line valve to the city water had some problems when we tried to turn on the water again, but Danny and Jesse figured it out and I have a new Buoy device monitoring my water flow and checking for leaks all over my house. Big thanks to Danny and Jesse (the Instgram man) for doing a great job, updating my pipes and valves and installing my Buoy device. 5 stars all the way.

I had a sewer back up on Saturday and tried to run a snake myself, that didn't work. I called Alert Plumbing on Sunday and Joey came out and tried to get it unclogged. He was polite, friendly and explained everything he was going to do ahead of time. He was not able to get the problem fixed but made suggestions on how to proceed. The next day Ruben came out with him to look at the situation and also made some suggestions on what to do, which was dig a replace a suspected broken pipe. They were very accommodating to answer all my questions and even made a recommendation that could take business away from them. They went out of their way to try and fix this by grabbing a city crew they saw down the block and bringing them by. I felt like the were truly trying to do the best for my situation and I appreciate it. As it turns out, my issue ended up being fixed by the City (a few days later) and I did not need Ruben's services. Alert Plumbing earned my respect any any future business as well as recommendations to others. Thanks.

We had a semi-emergency in the kitchen. Alert was the only one to pick up and get someone out within the hour. Ruben came by about 40 minutes after we called and the issue fixed in about 45 minutes.

Ruben was extremely friendly, courteous, and did a very good and quick job. He was also very clean and was very careful around the kitchen.

I'd highly recommend Alert Plumbing and especially Ruben.

I have had their service a couple of times in the past, never a problem. But I guess their service have gone south.

I had an appointment from 8AM to 9AM, no show or no call to let me know they will be late. I called back close to 9AM to check up, the technician said he is on the say and will be there shortly by 9:15AM. By 9:30AM, still no show. I called back and now they told me van broke down. I understand van can break down and thing can happen, but isn't this a basic courtesy to let your customer that you will be late. It doesn't make sense for me to have to follow up twice.

Then first thing the technician tells me as soon he arrived was that the job is $250 but he will give it to me for $200. $200 was what I was quoted when I made the appointment. Then when I called back to speak to the customer service, and I was told the price is $202.50 and she will give it to me for $200. Excuse me. How did the price all of a sudden goes up and then comes down to my quoted price as a special discount for being late?

Late without giving a heads up is already bad enough, but dishonest is just a no go.
