Had Aleck back again to rework the plumbing in our laundry room. Once again they did a fantastic job - Mike was professional and we couldn't be more pleased. Luckily his work exposed a hidden problem that needed to be fixed. We didn't hesitate to have Mike come out again and handle it. When you have a 100+ year old house, it is important to have a plumber you can trust!!

Aleck was scheduled to come to our house to replace a sump pump and camera a drain line under our house to evaluate for repairs. About 30 minutes before their arrival, we had a sewage backup in our basement. We called them right away and they were able to round up the needed equipment to handle the emergency situation at the same time. The service was impeccable, from the communication to the repair tech who was sent. Ed was friendly and professional and brought some calm to a very chaotic situation. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I had issues removing and replacing two bathroom faucets. My drain pipes did not align properly and it wasn't a straightforward job. After 3 trips to the hardware store and a lot of grief, I finally called Aleck Plumbing. The service professional was fantastic, on time, courteous and completed a tricky job with flying colors. I could not speak more highly of their work. THANK YOU for saving me when I was at my wits end!

We have a townhouse on a slope in the middle of several others (in one building) - so we never have water in our basement. When we discovered a half inch of water on top of one of our sealed sump pumps, I knew this pump was not working. No biggie. After making an appt, Aleck came out and replace the broken pump. I did not investigate pricing, just was told $70 service fee to come out. I assumed the typical $300-500 fee (my bad!) I have no complaints about their service. Our technician was polite and professional. I was at work so my wife supervised the fix. When I saw the bill - nearly $1100, I about choked. The pump installed retails for $250 and our plumber was here for about 1.5 hours, so you can do the math (mark up the pump to $300 that would be about $530 per hour). The ""flat rate"" pricing model was not a good value for us, to say the least. Be aware.

Thank you for great customer service. I got their number from Parkview's business directory. I called at 9:30am and Ed was out by 10:45 as was stated by their office. Now I know this many not happen all the time but what a pleasant surprise Ed was friendly and efficient. He worked quickly and cleaned up after the repair. Thank you very much. Amazing craftsmanship. True professional. We were faced with a complex repair of a copper drain pipe behind kitchen cabinets and exterior wall. Ed the plumber did an outstanding job in remediation. With skill, great knowledge, Ed worked the remediation efficiently and with quality craftsmanship. You hardly notice the complexity of the access issue and fix. Cannot say enough about the overall experience. Highly recommended this company for your plumbing needs.

Aleck Plumbing came highly recommended, but we weren't able to take advantage of his services due to his answering service. I called and explained what was going on (sump pump and unusual noises) and the service asked if this was an emergency call. Said I wasn't sure and wanted to talk to the plumber. Was told that if this was not an emergency, to call back M-F from 8-5. I asked if it was possible to talk with someone and we would wait for a callback, but the answering service had already disconnected the call. Called another plumber and the issue was resolved. Didn't want to rate this business since we didn't get past the answering service, but a rating is required, so 1 was chosen.
