I had a hose bib that was leaking inside the wall, called Albuquerque Plumbing and they had Jason out here the next day. He arrived 30 min early, was very polite, explained what he was going to do and had the whole thing done in about 40 minutes. The job turned out to be easier than I thought it might be, no need to cut a big hole in the wall; and the cost was reasonable. I will use the company again and recommend them to anyone in need of a competent plumber. Thank you for the great service!

BIG FAT FAIL on my service visit. They very quickly came to my home (good thing) to address my system and left SHODDY WORKMANSHIP in their wake. Sept. 26, 2018, they replaced the blower motor and control board in my HVAC unit. Oct 15, 2018 was the first need for heat whereupon the unit would not ignite the burner. COMPANY DID NOT STAND BEHIND ITS WORK in that they WOULD NOT COME OUT, WOULD NOT HAVE A TECH or MANAGER CALL to triage or hear details. Receptionists offered to SCHEDULE an appointment for days away or UPSELL ME to replace my SYSTEM. NO HEAT in BELOW FREEZING overnight temps is a clear and present emergency FOR A RECENT CUSTOMER.
I HAD TO CALL SOMEONE ELSE to correct 3 WIRING ERRORS/NOT CONNECTED in my unit (I stood shoulders with the tech from removing the panels). So much for system checkout, huh? Company dodged my calls (mgrs. mtg!) until 1 would speak to me long enough to IMPUNE THOSE WHO CORRECTED THEIR ERRORS. I'm calling my credit card company!!!

Do not use this bait and switch artist. They have been nothing but trouble and money money money. We got a quote from them for a new hot water heater and the person who came out explained that ours was in good shape and they could do a refurbishment for a fraction of the cost. We agreed and scheduled the work. When they show up, surprise surprise, there is no way to do that, and we do need a new water heater. But never fear, they happen to have all the parts needed in their vehicle! Against our better judgement we agreed because we had already scheduled the day off. Once it's done a city inspection needs to be done which we schedule and confirm. But, of course, they scheduled it for a different day than we asked without any communication about the change. So we take another day off work and they don't show up. So now we have to take ANOTHER day off work, and pay a fee. Which, according to the paperwork, is $47. But of course, the plumber has ""fees"" and it cost us $75. Almost $30 more when it's 100% their mistake and shouldn't have cost us anything. Again AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Will never call this company again for anything!! Last year my hot water heater failed and this company was recommended to me by the water clean-up guy who came to my house. They installed the new hot water heater (at a very steep price) and I THOUGHT everything was fine for almost a year. Four days after the 1 year warranty ran out for labor I began to smell gas. The gas company came out and said my hot water heater was the culprit. I immediately called Alb. Plumbing and Heating and they came out the next day and said they found no leaks! I continued to smell gas so I decided to call a different company. I'm sure glad I did!! They came out and lo and behold found the leak right away!! The gas control valve was cracked! Luckily the part was still under warranty, but I'll gladly pay the labor charge to have it done right by a dependable, honest company who won't try to rip me off!

My home could have burned down. Avoid these money hungry people at all costs!

I made a huge AC purchase (2 systems) from this place and they did a decent job but recently had a problem with my water heater and they put me off till the next week.

Very poor service for a customer who spent quite a bit of money with them. Will go elsewhere next time!

Part II - Called again when the AC unit stopped talking to the Compressor and Control Unit (installed in 2015). Best they could is put me off till the rest of the week. This company installed two units in my home. Now the Manager is telling me that I should have purchased yearly maintenance when I had installed. They NEVER mentioned maintenance when they installed my units.

VERY POOR SERVICE - Go elsewhere where you can get better customer service.

Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling was great to work with! After getting the run around by other companies in town they were a breath of fresh air to work with.

In the peak of swamp cooler season, they were able to schedule someone to come to my home sooner than any other company in the area. Their technician called when he was on his way, and the company sent his profile so I'd know who was coming to my house.

Matthew was my technician and was great! He was quick to get everything up and running and gave me estimates for services that would probably need to be done within the next year. When there was a leak in my system, Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling scheduled Matthew to come back out before the end of the day. He fixed the leak, gave estimates for ways to change the system to prevent further leaks, and gave great advice on how to keep it from leaking in the future.

I highly recommend Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling, they were great to work with.

Would highly recommend this company. Remodeling older home, opened up master shower to remodel. Ekkkkk. Had used another plumbing company in past homes. When called other, was placed on hold for over 5 minutes. Hung up, called ABQ Plumbing. So thankful. Jerod came next day for estimate. Walked me through all that needed to be replaced. Show me multi options, and scheduled the repair/ replacement. Very quick turn around time. Hubby wanted to make minor changes, wasn't an issue. Will have Jarod and Richard back again! This company is so customer service oriented. Emails and texted messages as reminders. Phone call to alert on the way. So professional while here. Hey, they cleaned up better then we do!! We are planning on them coming back to replace water heater. Will use them from now on. Psssssttt.. Did I mention how great they were with the rowdy puppy? Ask for Jerod and Richard. Can't go wrong!!

I had them come out to replace my swamp cooler which had the disadvantages of being on a very steep pitched roof as well as the the flashing around the ductwork having been screwed up by a previous contractor

They dealt with all the difficulties including an after install service in an extremely competent and timely manner - which is especially noteworthy given this being their busiest time of the year.

Having dealt with one other company that ended up trying to pad their quote out on day of install, as well as multiple other companies that either scheduled to give me a quote and never showed up, or never called back when I left a message - Ron at Abq Plumbing, Heating and Cooling was fantastic to work with.

I am extremely happy with my new unit, have a great level of confidence in the quality of the work, and look forward to using this company as my go-to for years to come.

THIS is what customer service should be about.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Beware, they work on commission and will try to up-sale you! One of the worst experiences I've ever had! They charged me $200 service fee to come for about 45 minutes... They shut off my furnace in the dead of winter, said that I needed to replace my furnace and air conditioner, and that it would cost $9,500. So I of course got a second opinion... Turns out that my filter was past due on my furnace (replacement cost $20). Problem solved.

I wanted an estimate for a small electrical problem and a lot of small leaks. Mat should up to give me my estimate. He was in my home half a minute and he was already smarting off. Explained to him the electrical issue, he explained to me he is a plumber. Ok well your company takes care of both electric & plumbing. Yes they do! But I would need to set up another appointment with the electrical side @
$65. Ok, well let's just stick to plumbing issues. Then I showed him, 1 problem went onto the next problem, he starts telling about my water heater not meeting code. Blah Blah Blah. I told him it meet code when the home was built. Then he starts going on about home inspection & city code inspectors. Then I just asked him to leave. I just want an estimate on the items on my list. Gave me a bill for $65, he wasn't in my home less than 5 minutes. He was insulting to me to my home, trying to up sell me on getting my water heater to code. My water heater is fine it's not on my list. Called the company, first of all I asked for the plumber my neighbor had from their company, he couldn't, or wouldn't come, That plumber didn't do the type of work I needed done. It was the same issues my neighbor had fixed, by Mr Cox. I explained to the receptionist the day pryor what I needed done and whom I wanted. She never explained I needed 2 estimates @ $65 each.
Then I was told a manager would call me. I'm not holding my breath!
