We have been using Albert's Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc from Conway PA for several years. They are always friendly and helpful. They get help to us promptly.

Today they sent a technician our way to address a small furnace issue, Austin was friendly and polite, but more importantly, he was capable and efficient.

I recommend them without reservation and appreciate knowing that I have access to a trustworthy company when I need them

OH this is going to be a loooong review. I first talked to Alberts around May 17th and was told that they were scheduling out about ""a week or two."" I got several estimates, but went with Albert's because I am on a tight timeline. I was looking for someone to put in 2 forced air systems (heat and AC). I wanted this for several reasons:

1. I do not like how minisplits look on the inside or outside of the house
2. the house has several built ins and fireplaces that make the placement of minisplits less than ideal
3. I don't like boilers
4. I don't like how the radiators look in rooms with boiler heat

I know these are all cosmetic, but if I am willing to pay 1/3 of the price I paid for the house to put in the system I want, I should get the system I want.

After confirming again that they could start working the week of May 22nd I verbally agreed to the contract and set an appointment to sign it. When the sales guy arrived with the contract, it was missing some things, so he said he would reprint it. I didn't get the corrected contract back until around May 24, 2023 (that's the day they emailed it, I might have signed it a few days later). I was a little annoyed at this point because I was told it was a 2-3 day job and was signing the contract on the day I initially was told the job would be done by. I was waiting on ALL other work to the house because Albert's was going to remove the boiler and baseboard radiators, when the radiators are removed I would need baseboard work and drywall before I could put in floors.

Everything just kept being rescheduled and pushed back to wait for HVAC.

On May 24th I was told that they would start work the next week (May 29th, 1 week late).

The next week I call to see when they are coming. I am told that because of the holiday they are behind and they will call to schedule by the end of the week. After getting the run around for a week, I finally get a VM on June 6th from the sales guy saying that they will begin the work on June 12th (4 weeks late).

On June 12th, I was on a work trip and got a very vague VM from the sales guy telling me that there were some things he wanted to talk to me about. We were going to need to cut attic access and they wanted to change the original location that we decided on, because they didn't think there would be access to the whole attic from that location. I knew that there was access to the whole attic from that location, because it is my grandparents house.

They didn't believe me. They then told me that they were not comfortable proceeding until I was back in town to go over several things.

I met with both the sales guy and the main HVAC guy as soon as I was back in town. The main HVAC guy told me that it was not possible to put in 2 forced air systems and that I would have to use minisplits and a boiler. We were standing in the basement when they said this. I immediately turned around and walked away.

I cried, then I called my mom, then I called all 4 other companies I had gotten estimates from, then I cried again.... All while the sales guy and main HVAC guy stood in my basement waiting for me to come back.

All of the other companies were willing to do the work, but would be 3-5 weeks out, Albert's said they would be able to start on the minisplits and boiler the next week. I got the new contract on June 16th and was told the work would start early the next week. They finally got to work on June 21st (almost 6 weeks later than I was originally told) and left an absolute mess (that is in the pictures) on the stairs floor. I had also started all of the other work on the house at this point (since we were no longer removing the baseboard radiators), so there were drywallers, paint, electricians, and my mom in and out of the house. After the first day of work I got a text that said, ""the guys will do their best to work around my mom or anyone else who may be on site while they are working."" I don't know if it was the whole ordeal or what, but that message did not sit well. I was told at this point that the work would be done by Friday June 23.

It was not.

On Friday, we were told that the hot water was working but the AC would be finished Monday. My mom then proceeded to take a shower on Saturday. When she came out of the shower she was shivering and said, I think your hot water is colder than my cold water. The hot water did not work. They told me that ""tankless water tanks can take a while to warm up."" Then they said they would fix it Monday. Tuesday, we do the inspection and the boiler isn't heating, so they work on that again, and I pay (because I think everything is working). Then the next time I am back the hot water doesn't work again and the whole system is off (he just turned it back on, still waiting to see what happens next). Overall, I am glad to have AC and glad to be done with it, but I am unhappy I paid so much for something I didn't want, because I got stuck with Albert's based on my timeline and their lateness.

Last week my AC went out during a little heatwave. Alberts was out the next morning and determined I needed a new system. Joe the estimator came out next and gave have a very reasonable estimate. They also offered financing through a third party. Couple days later a crew was out and I had a new AC system. Fast, courteous and professional. This will be the only company I call or recommend for all AC and heating needs. Top-notch company!

I needed a new furnace and a/c and Albert's was recommended to me by a friend who is a real estate agent and a relative whose family have used Albert's for decades. It was a good recommendation.

Joe, the estimator they sent to my home, was prompt, polite and knowledgeable. He took time to answer all our questions and was the only one who we got quotes from that measured and photographed the various areas that would be affected by a completely new system.

Additionally, a compressive formal quote hit my email by the end of the day. Unlike one of his competitors, who still, a week later hasn't sent me a quote.

Additionally, we liked that The Albert's quote listed information on the three separate alternatives we had discussed. Not something that any of the other vendors sent on their quotes!

Called with an emergency. Within two and half hours, my problem was resolved. Prompt, courteous and reasonably priced. I'll definitely use them again!

Had an issue with our a/c. As soon as the tech showed up, I told him what was going on and that my system was only 14 years old. At that point, all he kept trying to do was sell me an entire new system, even before taking a look at the old.

After checking for a leak in the system he said he found one in the coil inside, never even checked the outside condenser. He just kept pushing an entire new system.

The best part is when I actually heard him out about a new system. He calls his boss, gets one quote from his boss and says here's you price for a new system. Oh I'm sorry, last time I had a furnace installed the owner came to the house, sat down and showed me 3 different options (different company). I am not sure if it was just the tech I had or what. Also I have an all electric house no gas, so the tech proceeds to tell me I should have a gas line ran and put in a gas furnace, then he says they can do that for 10k lolol ya bc that's on my to do list... at that point I could not wait for him to leave.

These guys are amazing! Albert installed our heat pump and anytime we have an issue or a question he knows exactly what we mean and need. They came out in the pouring rain and moved the entire unit. So professional and quick! They came when they said they would and we're here the amount of time they said it would take!! Just a great hometown company. They don't overcharge. Just an overall great company. Super trustworthy.

Really great customer service. We have gotten our heat pump checked and air ducts cleaned each year since we moved in. They offer a great deal around Black Friday,- $99, and the servicing includes a new filter which can typically run you $40-80 for a decent one.

Highly recommend!

albert was a wonderful man and his staff were so respectful and honest and lovely to work with. you can trust them to what they are telling you and are knowledgeable about everything. instead of taking advantage of me and just fixing the heater they told me that it would be better to get new because it would constantly cost money for me in the long run. he could have taken advantage and kept coming back to fix it. wonderful staff and recommend highly to anyone. you can trust them.

In February 2014 my hot water tank failed and I needed a replacement fast. I contacted several other area businesses and Albert's had the quickest availability time as well as best price. Completed the work fast and with excellent quality. Thank you for the great work and helping me out of a jam.
