Absolutely horrible service along with horrible attitudes! I called my homeowners insurance to get my hot water heater fixed because it was leaking water. Chet from Alaska plumbing service shows up & seems totally unmotivated to get the job done right the 1st time & only applied pipe dope to the broken part & left. I called 2 weeks later because the problem was never fixed & gotten worse and Alaska plumbing service text me back. I explained over text I was not satisfied & the person who makes the schedule canceled my request from the insurance company because ""I wasnt satisfied "". Alaska plumbing service will give a homeowner a headache during an emergency situation. They should not be in business! I have the text chain to show.

My water heater broke on a day they were booked, and they managed to get me an emergency appointment the same day! Turns out my gas valve had broken, luckily he had a replacement part in his truck. Great service, fast and reliable! He walked me through what was wrong and what he was doing to fix it. Very friendly and professional. Will 100% call them if anything else breaks!

Not very happy. Told there was a three week wait. Texted me on Christmas eve day that they could fit me in with 15 min notice. I did appreciate that, since I had water dripping onto my floor for more than a week by then. Guy showed up wearing no mask. I had to ask him to put a mask on before coming into my house. I vented a window for safety and he closed it without asking. He took out a valve that my system needed, wasn't very respectful and provided a long list of problems not covered by my warranty. Insulted our truck in the driveway on his way out. Merry Christmas!

While out of state my son informed me that the house was cold and there was a water leak. I was told by a different company that my water talk was shot and was expecting a very expensive replacement upon my return home. So, I called Alaska plumbing and told him the situation. He was prompt and my family really liked him a lot., very professional. Fixed my furnace and water issue for a very reasonable price. I will absolutely call them next time.

Alaska Plumbing Service repaired my very old boiler in a rental unit I own, and recommended options for having a new one installed. They were honest, fairly priced, and did a great job - they even bled the air from my heater so it would stop being so noisy, just to be nice. They seem to prefer text messages, which I also really appreciate seeing as its 2019 and it's way more convenient for me since I'm currently on a different time zone. If you want a faster response, definitely text them. I'll go back to these guys when I decide about a new boiler.

We do not recommend Alaska Plumbing Service. They came to our house on April 8th and April 10th. The tech that came on April 8th could not locate our plumbing issue. They recommended a Drainage specialist to do a camera diagnostic and they were insistent on it. A camera diagnostic can not be done in pipes full of water. They gave us a bad recommendation. April 9th a drainage specialist came and they located the plumbing issue (no camera diagnostic). Alaska Plumbing had to come back to install a clean-out in our larger pipes so they could get to the blockage. Alaska Plumbing was not able to clear the blockage with their equipment. They cut additional holes in our sheet rock trying to figure out how else to access the blockage.... long story short and $650 later, we had another drainage specialist come to our house and they cleared the blockage in 10 minutes. Alaska Plumbing could not do the job. They should have admitted that up front and not hung around our house increasing their billable hours. They also bill you for the time they spend driving to your house. Just beware. They are super nice guys, but they shouldn't be recommending things they do not understand.

Update: had Trey install a Navien boiler in my rental unit that we're renovating. Excellent service again. He was on time, thorough, and cheaper than the competition. I've attached photos of both my home's Navien boiler and the condo's.

I had some broken faucets in my master bathroom and a hot water dispenser in my kitchen. Trey came over and did the work. He was professional, efficient, and pleasant. He showed up on time and cleaned up before he left. I would highly recommend him for all your plumbing needs.
