Worst contractor ever. He left a $21.5k job after second to final payment with last payment being around 10%.

There are so many problems.

1. New sewage line leaks and damaged my ceiling
2. Huge gap between carpet and new tile
3. Poor finishing touches between vanity and other areas
4. Left closet unusable and I had to build everything myself
5. His sub contractors called me saying Alan never paid them
6. Hot water doesn't work because his team mixed the cold and hot pipe together.

Alan Goldberg Contractors are LITERALLY as good as it gets! My boyfriend is in LA and I'm here in NYC and I got a panicked call from him that the toilet was overflowing and he was ankle deep in gross water, too busy trying to clean up the gross mess to try to find a plumber.
I called around to a bunch of places and booked someone who wasn't able to be there for 5 HOURS!!! It seemed so hopeless!!
Just then Alan called me back and said he had a guy on his way over. Before I could even tell my boyfriend the good news, Alan's guy was at the door! He fixed the toilet in 2 minutes and even left my boyfriend a special organic cleaning product to help clean up the mess.
I'm so grateful to Alan for his professionalism! AND! He was almost $50 less than the quote I got from the guy who was going to make my boyfriend WAIT in that mess for hours!!!

I must say, my first experience with Alan's company was a disappointment. Stay with me people, it gets better.

I booked an electrical appt and a week later they were a no show. I was frustrated at the wasted time, but Alan stepped right up, come next day and investigated the issue. A good family ran business where you get to talk to the owner and he actually does the work. That's a rarity in this day and age.

Our electrical is old and funky (low voltage relay system) that few electricians know how to work on. We have paid a pretty penny to people who don't know how to work on it. I think we may have to look no further as we've found our guy.

Thank you to Alan and Janet for making good on an initially bad encounter.

Alan is simply fast and efficient--diagnosed my problem as being much less dire than I was expecting, and took care of it for less than I was expecting to pay. He so obviously knows what he is doing, and I will DEFINITELY call him again for any work I need done. What a great find!

I reached out to Alan Goldberg for help with installing three outlets, I was in a big rush to get it done and requested that someone comes out soon. The office manager was extremely nice and helpful, and scheduled an appointment for the same day. She then kept me posted about the status via text and answered my questions very timely. Also, Alan himself reached out to me to inquire about my experience; it is obvious that he cares deeply about his business and providing the best service, and he will go above and beyond to make his clients happy.

An absolute pleasure to work with everyone at Alan Goldberg Contractors. We had a few odd electrical jobs around the office, and Janet was able to schedule us quickly with Aaron for a consultation. When Aaron arrived, my coworker and I were struggling to get something out of our van and Aaron immediately offered to help even before discussing the electrical work that needed to be done. When he came back to install a phone jack, he brought his son and Chris and they were all great to work with and quick to offer advice for other problems around the office. Would recommend this team for any job you have around your home.
