he sent out handymen who were not certified electricians to rewire my house. continuous issues, including 1 out of 3 plugs are currently not working.

Well, all I can do is echo what just about everyone else says. Alan is great. In fact, we called at something like 1am after our electric main popped...in the rain. I wasn't going to touch it and we agreed to meet early (later) that morning. 6am and we took a look at my ancient electrical panel. Alan's immediate and apparent knowledge of what happened reassured me my house was not going to explode! :) Anyway, he gave everything the once over, insulated the offending piece of metal and buttoned everything up (the metal panel blew off onto the side walkway). Back in electrical goodness in ten minutes flat. No big deal for him - GIANT deal for us. Thanks Alan. One other thing. A lot of people mention calling and waiting to get called back - you know the little guys who are really good are busy - it is worth hanging in there and supporting people like Alan. My two cents.

I am writing this review after having Alan come install 2 switches for my dental office. He knows his job! He came in at the time he said he would... (no 4 hour time slot like most repair guys often give you). His prices seemed fair, and he didn't keep changing the price, which I appreciate. I am writing this review about 1 year after I used his services.... (I thought I needed an electrician again and came on yelp looking for his number) I can't believe I didn't write the review before. I didn't end up having to call him afterall (A quick call to my dad and disaster was averted...I guess he deserves a 5 star review too), but I have no hesitancy using Alan's services again and I just saved his number in my phone because I panicked briefly when I couldn't find him on here for a couple minutes....

A year later and everything is in working order. Thank you Alan!

Great! Had Alan come out to fix electricity at my place in Venice. He was super efficient. Clearly knew his stuff and just ran through fixing what needed to be fixed. He gave me what I thought to be a very reasonable quote and was on his way. I'll definitely use him again when I need more electrical work.

Alan was great! I had 2 other electricians attempt to fix the electrical outlets for my fountains which both broke within days after their work . Alan fixed both fountains which have continued to work without a glitch. He is very knowledgeable and fair priced.

After some good reviews on yelp, I gave them a call. Left a message and they have not returned my call in 3 days. Does not speak well for customer service.

I phone twice to get a service call (spoke to Alan each time) and I emailed him as he requested to schedule an appointment. I never received a response. Therefore I cannot rate his skills but the professionalism of this company needs definite improvement.

Just got a call from this company. They said they never got my email. The yelp page has their website and on the website is the email. Checked and that is where I sent it. Oh well, they did offer to come out now but I have already found another company.

I called Alan on a sunday to help install an above-the-range microwave that required an electrician's expertise...lots of wires going all over the place, etc. Alan came over to our place in less than an hour and completed the work in about 50 minutes. Excellent work, professional and reasonably priced.

The 5 stars are for Alan and crew's integrity in correcting previous problems of communication that had initially created some delay in the completion of the work. I am grateful for the excellent quality of his work, customer service, and ethical professionalism. I very highly recommend him!
