Where do I start? For starters everything they handled before the service visit was professional. Everyone within the organization that I had interaction with was the best! My technician Jamie was a "dynamic rockstar". I found Jamie to be patient and not just understanding but listening to all my concerns. I needed a water heater replaced and he walked me through all the questions I had, whether they were silly, or he heard a million times by someone else. Hs whole demeanor was just awesome to the company he represents. If your hesitant on who to utilize for plumbing services, don't think twice! They remain competitive in pricing and while someone else may offer for a lesser cost, this does not mean your going to get the whole package, which to me is more important and that is respect, ethics and being professional. Thanks for everything.

I have used Alan's plumbing for over 10 years at my house. They are always very professional and reasonable. Chris has been doing the work on our remodel job of the bathroom and is extremely polite and helpful with great recommendations. I feel very comfortable with everyone at Alan's and highly recommend them as they are the best in the industry!

Alan's Plumbing came out to diagnose and repair a leak coming from the upstairs bathroom. Turns out there was a leak in the p-trap below the tub drain accessible only through the ceiling. Eventually, the plumber located the leak and got it fixed. He was cordial and professional. My issue, though, is with the billing.
I was charged for the roughly 45 minutes it took the plumber to go purchase the p-trap because he didn't have that part on his truck. He charged $155/hour which I was told is a discount from their regular fee of $175-225/hour. So my $5 p-trap part cost another $116 due to drive time. I've tried (unsuccessfully) to have this charge removed from the total bill; however, they insist that's fair practice. I beg to differ.
Bottom line: If you're considering Alan's, they'll likely get the job done, but know that their prices are above the industry average and they may charge a pretty penny for things you weren't expecting (e.g. drive time to go get a part).

We've used Alan's Plumbing for a few years on various projects - water heaters, whole house water filters, faucets, drain clogs, etc. They've always been great + reasonably priced. Only issue I've encountered is availability - sometimes they have a backlog of a week or more.

Things go wrong. Alan has been helping my family for 10 years as that happens.
Fair prices.
Courteous plumbers, always. If they have come back to fix something, they don't haggle over coming back on them.
They show respect to me and my home.

Out rageous quote I received to install an electric water heater in the garage. Not gas water hearter an electric.
The person on the phone said $1800.00. They would pick up a Rheem and install with 2 persons and other new pieces needed.
I have lived in my home since 1995 and had 3 other water heaters installed. Never ever has someone charged me $1400.00 for installation. Wow. The Rheem that is ideal to my home can be purchased at Home Depot or Lowes for $350.00 with tax. The person on the phone said the Rheems they install are not from Home Depot. She mentioned a drain pan which there is none or necessary for my home. Use to be a good company, not any more.

Good Afternoon,
I must share with you my dismay concerning the conversation I just had with the woman who answers your phone. Just about a year ago I contacted your company to install new sink and bathtub faucets in two upstairs bathrooms. Today, while cleaning out the cabinet under one of the sinks I discovered a small leak. As I attempted to explain to the woman who answers your phone, we seldom used the sink over the course of the past 11 months. Recently, while having our master bedroom remodeled we moved upstairs and began to use that sink on a daily basis. She very quickly mentioned that there would be a charge for the repair and when I reiterated that we had not used the sink regularly she said that we should have checked it before now. She mentioned that you give only a 30 day warranty. As the conversation continued I felt that she was being overly aggressive. She talked over me several times and I found that to be quite offensive. I told her never mind that I would find someone else to do the repair and would be sure to give you a 'great' review on Yelp. After we hung up, I contacted another plumbing company and scheduled them to do the repair.
A few minutes later she called me back to say that she would have Chris come out to look at the problem but that she didn't appreciate that I threatened her with a bad online review. I assured her that it was not a threat-it was a fact. I also told her that I had engaged another company to do the repair. At that point she added insult to injury by telling me to be sure to tell the truth in the online review.
The amount of money that we spent with your company, $1840.00, was significant to our budget. It would seem that it was most likely insignificant to your business. Rarely have we ever had to contact a business to request they return to address a repair on their work. Therefore, I found it very disconcerting that this woman would speak in such an aggressive manner to a customer. At this point, my complaint is basically that when I contacted your company to request a minor repair on a job that was done nearly a year ago and not discovered until today, I was spoken to in a rude and demeaning manner. We have lived in Fort Bend for over 30 years. Please be assured that whenever someone asks for a plumbing referral I will be sure to mention your company and the less than courteous way I was treated. Beth S.

Alan's plumbing is great, they are reasonably priced and do a good job in a timely manner. The plumbers who come and do the work themselves are great I.e Beau and Trevor etc. However, watch out when you call as the chick who answers the phone I.e Jennifer is the rudest and most miserable person you will have the displeasure to speak to on the phone; she either needs to get some HRT or increase her Prozac. They are otherwise a great outfit.

I have used Alan Plumbing twice now and have been very satisfied. Once they fixed a water heater issue and then another time they repaired a leak in my toilet and changed a shower head for me. The workers that came to my house were very courteous and didn't try to sell me on anything extra (that was so nice), they just came, solved my plumbing problem and then fixed it. I will definitely continue to use them.

This past week my wife walked into her clothes closet and found the carpet soaked. Naturally, it is the husband's fault and my responsibility to fix it. It was late in the evening ,but I went outside with my cell flashlight and after I started sinking in the ground I went back in the house and confidently told my wife I will fix it in the morning. The next day I went outside with my sophisticated array of tools. I started digging thinking it was a broken pipe in my sprinkler system. When i realized i was dealing with the main line coming into the house I immediately took my shovel back to the garage and coated with mud, I decided to call Alan's plumbing. I was told that someone would be at my house between 1 and 3 and I would receive a phone call when someone would be dispatched to my home. Beau got to my house right around 3. I shared with him my very professional diagnosis (sarcasm) and he just politely said yes sir and smiled. I knew enough to get out of his way and head inside. This young man worked in 100 plus heat for 4 hours, completely cleaned everything and overall acted on behalf of the company he so proudly represents in the most professional manner possible. My experience was 6 star. Being a local owner of a family owned and operated business as well I can appreciate more than most how important your employees are as they are the face of your company. Great job Beau and thank you Alan's plumbing. Barry S.
