Company Overview

This family-run operation stands on a trustworthy foundation of reliability. There’s no one better. If you have a leaking pipe, a blocked drain, require a new hot water heater, or need a toilet reset, contact Alan, Jennifer, their three sons—Beau, Luke, and Jake—and brother Chris.

It’s often said, ""children will mirror your actions; so embody the qualities you wish to see in them."" Master Plumber Alan Burkhalter of Alan's Plumbing has exemplified this as the father of three sons. Serving the Fort Bend community for over nineteen years (and still going), Alan's sons Beau, Luke, and Jake have absorbed the values of hard work—the true essence of blood, sweat, and tears. Growing up in the business, they observed, learned, and prepared to carry on the legacy their father established.

Beau and Luke have obtained their Journeyman's License and operate their own truck. Jake jumped in and secured his Apprentice Plumber's License. When asked about their lessons from their father, their answers reflect what any dad would hope to hear. Beau states, ""Everything I know comes from my dad, and he’s undoubtedly the best father and teacher.""

What do you look for in a plumber? Someone who is experienced and offers a fair price! Knowing you can trust a company to handle the job correctly the first time gives you peace of mind. I'm very impressed with this company. I needed help with a plumbing issue for a home and I was on a tight deadline. I called and explained the situation and Katie said she would try to get someone out that day. Beau came out about an hour later and fixed the two issues I was worried about along with another issue that I thought I would have to call another contractor to address. It is so nice when a service company exceeds your expectations! It doesn't happen often.

Our sink was clogged (the one the AC drains into). They came out within an hour (at the end of the day no less) and worked like crazy to get our 50 year old plumbing working again. I would HIGHLY recommend them and am very satisfied with the work they did. They made several recommendations to improve our old plumbing as well that we will surely be implementing. Thank you Alans and thank you Luke!

A prompt and responsive plumber. Their prices are fair, they communicate well, and most importantly they get the job done. Very well-versed in all plumbing aspects, including gas lines. My family has used them for years and will continue to do so.

Jeff came out and wad very friendly and highly professional. He replaced our faucet and answered other questions we had. We showed him a water heater that we thought needed to be replaced and he honestly that it didn't. He told us how to make it better by ourselves. I would definitely recommend Alan's Plumbing.

Called after another plumber said it would be a week for an appointment. Alan's Plumbing came in 20 minutes, fixed clogged drain line is 30 minutes. Technician was super friendly as was the dispatcher who took my call.

Where do I start? For starters everything they handled before the service visit was professional. Everyone within the organization that I had interaction with was the best! My technician Jamie was a "dynamic rockstar". I found Jamie to be patient and not just understanding but listening to all my concerns. I needed a water heater replaced and he walked me through all the questions I had, whether they were silly, or he heard a million times by someone else. Hs whole demeanor was just awesome to the company he represents. If your hesitant on who to utilize for plumbing services, don't think twice! They remain competitive in pricing and while someone else may offer for a lesser cost, this does not mean your going to get the whole package, which to me is more important and that is respect, ethics and being professional. Thanks for everything.

I have used Alan's plumbing for over 10 years at my house. They are always very professional and reasonable. Chris has been doing the work on our remodel job of the bathroom and is extremely polite and helpful with great recommendations. I feel very comfortable with everyone at Alan's and highly recommend them as they are the best in the industry!

Alan's Plumbing came out to diagnose and repair a leak coming from the upstairs bathroom. Turns out there was a leak in the p-trap below the tub drain accessible only through the ceiling. Eventually, the plumber located the leak and got it fixed. He was cordial and professional. My issue, though, is with the billing.

I was charged for the roughly 45 minutes it took the plumber to go purchase the p-trap because he didn't have that part on his truck. He charged $155/hour which I was told is a discount from their regular fee of $175-225/hour. So my $5 p-trap part cost another $116 due to drive time. I've tried (unsuccessfully) to have this charge removed from the total bill; however, they insist that's fair practice. I beg to differ.

Bottom line: If you're considering Alan's, they'll likely get the job done, but know that their prices are above the industry average and they may charge a pretty penny for things you weren't expecting (e.g. drive time to go get a part).

We've used Alan's Plumbing for a few years on various projects - water heaters, whole house water filters, faucets, drain clogs, etc. They've always been great + reasonably priced. Only issue I've encountered is availability - sometimes they have a backlog of a week or more.

Things go wrong. Alan has been helping my family for 10 years as that happens.

Fair prices.

Courteous plumbers, always. If they have come back to fix something, they don't haggle over coming back on them.

They show respect to me and my home.
