I would not recommend this company. They missed there initial appointment then when they did show up he was late. We asked for the measurements of the tank and he did not know and said he would call us the next day with the info. However the call never came. Its like they don't want the business so they are not going to get it.

After giving us a quote, we hired them. They responded to our calls and confirmed the appointment and window for that appointment. They explained what they would do for the installation and how long it would take for the job. They completed the job, explained maintenance to me and cleaned up the job area. I recommend them for anyone's plumbing needs

AWS is the best. Always super helpful, responsive, and friendly. Their product works very well, to boot. They are also quick to help you help yourself if you are interested in saving money, with guidance on how to do some things without needing to call them.

Reasonable price for the filter. They have options and will try to sell a high priced one but with a simple discussion will cater to your specific needs. They use a quality valve (I think it's a Clack). There was a slight mixup on the installation dates (tried to come on an earlier date) but because they gave a text notification we resolved it easily. Installation itself went well and the installer spent time to discuss maintenance and care for the filter. Three months later and the filter seems to be working well. This company is easy to work with and competitive with another local plumbing company (which didn't seem interested in installing a water softener).

Update:
We had our water softener installed Dec. 2018 and
On Jan. 21, 2021 I noticed a leak coming from the top of tank where it connects with the hardware.
Long story short , explained to the front desk handling the calls, this repair cannot wait, since still leaking after valve was shut off.

Alamo Water dispatched same day and Matt D. was able to inspect and tighten the unit and made sure there were no further leaks. Also, thank you Matt D. For your great customer service.

I will never use them again, found out that they did not need to replace my water softener even though they did. And the plumber they recommended was terrible, no masks, no follow-up information as to where the break was in my drain pipe, Never heard from them again with a copy of the camera. I won't use them either.

Excellent service. I called and got an estimate then scheduled a date. Everything was completely explained and work was completed in one day. Even with the install from the main water line which the dug by hand and under a sidewalk. On the previous estimates they wanted to bring in a backhoe and dig out the front lawn. They also wanted to demolish my sidewalk. Their quote was over twice the price.

Our technician Nick came out this morning and beautifully installed our water softener after calling to set it up not even 24 hours before. Alyssa was very helpful in answering my questions a few days before as well. Nick removed our old Whirlpool softener and cleaned the space, dried and wiped the water spilled from the old one, and installed the new softener like any OCD attentive person like myself would. It looks so clean and organized, even the power adapter cabling was stapled in. Just so satisfying. Pictures below. He even installed a new water cutoff valve and overall was top marks across the board. Never thought I'd be so excited about a water softener, but now I am! Looking forward to it.
