My husband and I have used Alamo City Plumbing for years and we couldn't imagine going to another company. They are small, family owned and extremely efficient and professional. In the five years since we've owned our current home, we've experienced myriad plumbing problems. Alamo was able to find and quickly repair two slab leaks (at different times and locations in the house) which prevented us from sustaining any water damage. When we had our third slab leak last year, we decided that enough was enough and we called Alamo to have an estimate done to re-plumb our entire house. They were fastidious and forthcoming with an estimate, and we weren't disappointed by the job that they completed. They were extremely fast, clean and conscientious, which was much appreciated since large portions of our interior and exterior walls were cut open to rerun our lines through our attic. It wasn't a cheap job by any means, but at the end of the day you get what you pay for. John is always the technician that comes out when we call to have our bi-annual service appointments. He's funny and kind, and I feel safe and comfortable having him in my home. After a hideous experience with a shady fencing contractor lately, I thought that we were stuck with a faulty gate. When John came out to do a routine check of our AC unit, he performed an impromptu surgery on our gate and now it swings open and closed with ease! I'd suggest using Alamo for all of your plumbing and hvac needs. No reason to go with a larger company where you're one in a million. Alamo really provides an excellent level and quality of service with an assuring personal touch.
