Have you ever caught someone about to commit a crime and they just panic and run away? That's what you can expect from AladdinPlumbing.com. The top of their site advertised ""$89 Drain Cleaning ... No extra charge for nights, weekends, and holidays!"" (Not to mention a $25 off any service coupon.) I called them up, made a time for a plumber to come (great service so far). The guy comes in, I describe a ""slow draining"" kitchen drain. He takes a cursory glance at the pipes and says it will be $295, I say ""that sounds a little high."" He says, ""if it's a straight clog, I can make it $275."" I show him on the website where it says $89, and he says he's going to have to talk to his manager. He goes back out to the truck, I call the main number and I ask about the price quote on the website banner, the operator says she needs to put me on hold, comes back about 5 minutes later and says she needs to call her supervisor and she will call me ""right back."" I wait about 15 minutes (I notice the plumber has driven off from in front of my house during this time). I try to call their main line again and it goes to voicemail after 8 rings. I wait another 5 minutes and call again. Ring, ring... .

Have some decency. Make up some excuse. But for the plumber to just drive away and the operator to not be able to answer the question ""does your company honor the price posted on the website"" is just absurd.

I own a restaurant and was having an issue with a defective boiler I purchased. They not only helped resolve the problem with the manufacturer, but also went out of their way to ensure it was installed correctly, updating me as things progressed. Having no hot water in a restaurant can be costly; thankfully, they were able to work with me to get everything up and running in a short time at a fair place. I will use them for all my future needs. FIVE STARS!

Had Aladdin come in and replace faucet. Price included faucet when we decided to use our own was promised a refund in one week. This was in April
After 25 calls to the office finally Omar returned my call.
Sent him a copy of the invoice . Received a text on October 13th an apology and the check was going out
As of today November 11th no check

I had my washroom sink clog up 6pm on a Saturday night... The woman who answered the phone was courteous and assured me someone would be at my house within an hour. The gentleman showed up and quoted me $675 to unclog the main line in my house. This sounded outrageously expensive for a simple snake in the main line. I was able to negotiate the rate to $575 and I had him complete the work, which was done professionally and cleanly in under an hour.
This in my opinion is price gouging for off hours service, I had someone call me back for service a day later and quoted me $300 + tax.
I will never use this company again nor would I recommend using this company. I called 3 plumbers and this was the only one that answered, I was in a pinch and needed service right away..
Try Roto Rooter or any other 24 hour service company..

if you need plumbing work in a hurry, call them. if you do not want to get ripped off, look elswhere.
they charged me $900 to provide a $260 garbage disposer and install it.
orig. he said it would be $350+ to install the one i had purchsed. it was the wrong type, so he waited 30 min.while i returned it. lowes did not have the right one. he said he would get one. 30 min later came back with tghe $259 retail unit. said they had it in stock so he did not have to supply a receipt. he told me he was going to home depot before he left.
one hour to install. one hour to wait and get the unit.

$640 for service and tax for 2/3 hours time...outrageous!!!

thinking back i recall the did another job where they replaced a drain pipe for kit. sink: aprox 10 ft with one bend in basement for $1000.

Honestly if I could give this company less than one star I would.
I run a small spa in Hillsdale, NJ and my landlord saw my steam shower generator had a leak and told me to fix it ASAP. Found these guys after a google search ""24/7 emergency service"" drew me in so I called at noon 6/5/2015. The girl who answered was nice enough, told her my problem and she said she would send someone out by 3-4pm to take a look and that the estimate would be free. I thought that was reasonable so I hung up and I waited.

at about 5:30pm I called again wondering where the heck the guy was. The receptionist asked me ""oh he still hasn't made it??"" No idea who was assigned to me or where any of their ""technicians"" were said she would call me back when she got some answers. She never did. At 6-6:30pm or so I called again explaining that I had waited ALL day for someone anyone to come look at my steam shower generator, I gave her the model and the year installed again and she said she was sending someone right away.

The guy finally got to the spa at close to 8pm and was in a huge rush to get in and look. I took him back to the area and he starts looking around, ""yeah yeah big leak lots of water"" tinkering, tinkering and took a ton of pictures. He comes out like he has a determined look on his face and goes ""YEAH I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS MACHINE IS OR HOW TO FIX IT. CALL IN THE MORNING FOR SOMEONE ELSE!"" I nearly broke out into tears and he says ""oh is this stressful for you or something?""

YES!!! I'M INCREDIBLY STRESSED OUT!!!

One last chance I called that moment and yelled at the receptionist how can they send someone who had no knowledge of what I needed done especially since I waited hours upon hours for someone to come at all! she profusely apologized again, said she was gonna have someone first thing in the morning at 9 am sharp, she was going to leave a note for the morning receptionist as well as the manager about the situation.

It is now 1:36 pm 6/6/2015 and no one ever came.
I found another company called Aladdin at 12:30pm to cancel my 9am appointment, and the other company asked some questions had me send pictures gave me a free consultation and is sending someone within the hour to fix the problem.

Aladdin is the worst company that I have ever had the displeasure of trying to work with. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Total crooks!!! These thieves took advantage of a situation that my parents needed a sewage line replaced and caused more financial damage than they fixed. They were happy to take their money but never refilled the dirt that was removed to do the job and now the concrete steps leading up to the porch have separated from the house. How much this will cost to fix, who knows. As someone who works in a customer satisfaction based business it pains me to see hard working people taken advantage of. My parents bought this home 8 years ago and turned it into a dream home to retire in but it has now been turned into a nightmare by these crooks!!!! Needless to say I will be in contact with my attorney to help remedy this situation. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company.

STAY AWAY! Issue was pilot light not staying lit on hot water heater. Knew a plumber was needed. Was expecting the fee for the service call to be applied to a repair cost. I am in Florida, tenant in NJ. I am handling this via my tenant's phone. Technician informed me entire hot water heater needed to be replaced for $1,300. When I questioned both the solution and the price, he asked ME how much was I expecting to pay? RED FLAG!! I said IF that was the problem, which I didn't believe it was, I had no idea, but probably not more than $1,000. He said ""Okay, I'll fix it for $1,000 right now."" Would not leave my tenant's unit until I paid him service call fee -- $187.25. The next day I paid $70 TOTAL for a new thermal coupling and cleaning of pilot assembly by another licensed plumber who is emailing me an invoice. Bank would not reverse Aladdin charges, informing me I should have called police rather than authorize payment had I felt strong-armed or coerced or fraud was involved. Called Aladdin to complain and have not heard back. Aladdin website says member of BBB and NJ licensed with glowing reviews. Cannot find them on BBB website. License number brings up nothing. I should have read Yelp reviews before making call. Now I see others have shared my same experience, as far back as 2013. How do they keep getting away with this scam?

Stay away!!!! By far the worst service I have ever experienced. We called them in an emergency for a burst pipe. The service at that time was good, although they charged almost $1900 to fix the pipe as well as to fix the main shut off valve. The valve they replaced started leaking the following day. When we called them back to fix the leak, after scheduling a time to come they did not show up- not once, not twice, but three different days. I finally had to call every half of an hour to get someone to come and during those calls, I was told to be ""patient."" This is a terrible company and I would not recommend then to anyone. Expensive. Poor quality. Unaccountable.
