Owner/plumber Al came out and put a new thermocoupler on our water heater. Prompt, professional, clean and reasonable. I'd definitely call him again for future plumbing needs.

Excellent service. I reached out to Al to setup an appointment. His son Tyler came over to check out the leak under my house. He quickly identified the problem and made a recommendation to fix it. He also informed me of some of the sub par work that was done to install my bathroom toilet. I asked him to fix whatever issue he finds to ensure we don't encounter problems in the future. Without a doubt I highly recommend this company.

There's always that person who unfortunately doesn't get the same 5 star experience. Al did an inspection for plumbing leak and made a very reasonable quote, which made it seam like a simple fix. The inspection cost $150. When wanting to move forward with the job, he stopped responding. When getting inspections from 3 other plumbers (who did not charge me) it was clear that Al down played the problem we have. I would not recommend him to do your plumbing inspection because he charges you when many others don't, and he is not responsive.

I was referred to Al Richards Plumbing by another tradesman. He came out quickly, diagnosed our problem, and indicated we needed to replace our recirculating pump for about $600. I said ""OK, let's do it"". When he came back to replace the pump, he discovered that the pump was actually OK, and that the problem was less complicated. Al was totally honest, fixed the problem, and did not charge us for an unnecessary repair. Instead of $600, the repair was less than $300. What a guy! He deserves at least 5 stars! Thanks...

Al worked on our Noritz tankless water heater several years ago and was great. Today we had a problem with the cylinder that holds the scale shield. I called after hours and left a message. He called me back right away and had the part we needed. He let me pick it up since he lived close and did not charge me for the part. He had a suggestion to avoid the common problem and will let me know when it is ready for install. Very nice man to do business with and I highly recommend

Love to support local businesses. Al came to our house free of charge for an estimate whereas another plumber charged us $150 and a $3200 quote to replace a broken tankless waterheater. Al was very honest and quoted us $1000 less than the other plumber. He also recommended a higher end water heater model than the other plumber. He came in and replaced the water heater in 1/2 day. He did such a good job, I don't want to knock him for leaving a mess. For saving a $1000 I will gladly pick up the boxes and old water heater he left in the back yard. If you're looking for a very neat and clean job, he may not be your plumber, but if you want the job done right and for a fair price, call AL!
