I had a sink and a washing machine that needed to be snaked. The sink went fine, but their plumber broke the p-trap on my washer, leading to more repairs and more cost. He ruined a towel, because he did not have shop towels of his own. There were massive communications problems, and ever increasing costs. I do not recommend this company
I got a quote from these guys to rebuild 2 toilets. Based on how long it took the other company I hired to do it, their quote came to $300 an hour for labor and 25% more for the parts.
Julian came out and did a thorough job of replumbing under my kitchen sink, replacing the broken dishwasher hose connection and removing old
occluded drain pipes. A big improvement- now no smell from my drains! He was personable, and explained everything very clearly. Very fast response time and a good price for a job well done!
Katie M.We I divided the number of hours it took to get the job done, it was about $200 an hour. I should have been a plumber! They got the job done and they came the day after I called. If you want or in a hurry, their your company
Stay clear of this company, they will try to overcharge you if you let them
they came out and quoted us $612 and said that because they had to bring equipment onto the roof that it was very heavy and dangerous that is why the cost was what it was, we refused to pay that outrageous quote and they brought it down to $350 WOW!!! that's a big deduction, wish now we hadn't done any business with them but it was an emergency and used them anyways, they overcharge and try to get away with it......reason we called them in the first place was to give family business our support but not the case and will never use Coronado plumbing again!!
Frances T.I had a problem with a leak in the garage and old faucets in the bathroom that wouldn't turn off - so I called Al Coronado Plumbing for help. Marty Oros and Brad did the work. They called when they were on the way. It was a big job and I ended up needing a new hot water heater. I had a Kenmore that was replaced after another Kenmore failed and was still under warranty. The new one was only a year and a half old and I decided not to mess around with yet a third one. It took a lot of work as the pipes are PVC and are about 42 years old and and difficult to work with but everything looks great now and I love my new faucets and hot water heater. Thanks guys!
Had a leak in the hot water recirculation line. Called Al Coronado plumbing and Marty came out to review the situation. Turns out the company that installed our hot water heater two years ago didn't do it to housing specs.
Marty did a complete analysis of the installation and recommended redoing the installation as it had many shortcuts and not robust. Gabe came out to do the actual reinstallation and did an outstanding job. It's like artwork. It took a while to complete but Gabe stuck with it until it was done right. The job wasn't inexpensive but final results are worth it and should last a long time!
We originally had called another plumbing company to come out but they had a lot of no's or can't do. So we called Al Coronado plumbing and our first encounter was with Charli. She set the tone for the whole experience and was very good and insured us that the job would get done and get done right. It ended up being a lot more work involved so we had multiple people come out to complete the work. Xavier, Jesus, Brandon, Adam, Alvie, and Kevin all were very dedicated to making it right. Xavier and Kevin especially went out of their way going above and beyond to help at my dads house. Very appreciative to the team for helping out and fixing my dad's plumbing issues. Highly recommend.
We ran out of hot water and called them to come out. It was an $89 charge unless we went with them for services--ok, we figured we'd need them to do the job anyway. Their SALESMAN came out (not even an actual plumber) and never even opened the panel or inspected it other than just standing in front and looking at it. After 15 mins he said he needed a new hot water heater. We explained that we have a newborn baby and we're dreading needing a new heater, and that we can only do the cheapest option. He wrote our estimate as $1,800 being the CHEAPEST option. Regretfully we put half down as they required, and ordered the new heater. The next morning, my father came to look at it and SIMPLY CHANGED THE THERMOSTAT. He is handy but not a plumber, and the thermostat cost $20. We've had hot water back ever since with no issues.
THEIR SALESMAN said it needed to be completely replaced for $1,800 without even looking into why we ran out of hot water. Let that sink in. DO NOT USE AL CORONADO PLUMBING. THEY JUST WANT TO SELL.
This was the most honest person I have encountered in the plumbing industry. We had predicted needing at least a moen cartridge for the shower but after he inspected it we just needed to replace the shower head. He let my husband know what he needed to do to install it himself. He did not charge us a penny. I have never experienced this sort of honesty or customer service! I will use them in the future for any plumbing needs!
