The quotes for repairing my furnace were excessively high. It felt like they were trying to push me towards buying a completely new furnace. I checked with a different HVAC company and got the repairs for a fifth of what I was quoted by Aksarban ARS. I would recommend at least getting a second opinion before using this company.

UNETHICAL!! The technicians is not trained to fix the issue they are trained to sell new systems!!! A furnace went out in one of my rental homes on the coldest weekend of the year. in panic, I called several companies to see who could have someone available to come out and fix it ASAP. Aksarben (ARS) was the first one to respond. They sent someone out within a few hours. After being there for 30 minutes the tech called me with my options. The first option was to fix the furnace which was going to be over $6000 included a new blower capacitor, blah, blah, blah. He then told me blowers are out of stock and very hard to get right now. Due to the extreme cold weather (not wanting pipes go freeze) and the price being so expensive he suggested a new furnace completely. Within an hour he had his ""sales"" person there quoting me a new furnace for $7300. I ALMOST said yes just so it would be completed before any other issues arose. However, I decided to get a second opinion. I was able to get Fraizers to come out and take a look soon after Aksarben (ARS) left. The tech called and said the system was locked up but all he could see was that we needed a new blower for $700 (which WERE in stock, Aksarben said the distributor was OOS)! He also said that should that not work they would discount a new furnace to compensate for the blower amount. Within 2hrs they had the new blower installed, and the heater is working great!
DO NOT TRUST AKSARBEN, there goal is to replace not fix!!!!
I % suggest Fraizers. Great customer service. saved me over 6k by just being honest and ethical.

I want to give zero stars. My heat pump, that Aksarben installed 5 years ago, stopped working. I called them to come look at it. They said it had a leak. To find the leak they wanted almost $800 dollars! I called and talked to a manager who took the price down to $450. Today they find the leak and want over $2700 to fix it, and that is with my service plan discount!!! I called around to 4 other heating companies, and the most any one of them would charge is $1000, and that would have included the price of finding the leak. Stay away from this company, all they want is to separate you from your hard earned money.

We had a new system pit in two years ago and apparently they only provide one year labor warranty, which is way below the industry standard and when I called to get help (because my home was 42°, I was told it would be two days before they would come. Terrible customer service!

We had an Aksarben HVAC service provider come out and tell us we basically needed two new furnaces, which the sales consultant then quoted me a replacement cost of $17,000. The repairs would cost over $7000 b/c we needed new heat exchangers. We contacted another service provider outside of ARS to get a second opinion. The other service provider - Chris from Bogatz Heating and Air in Gretna - fixed our furnace that wasn't running with one small part he had with him in his truck. Tested the heat exchangers in both furnaces and found they were well below the limit for concern. Said our furnaces were running great, especially for being 11-years old. So, idk, would you recommend your friend use a business that would charge upwards of $7000 for an unnecessary repair (but really urges you should spend $17,000 for a whole new system!) or go with the one that takes care of all of it for less than $400 AND detects and fixes a gas leak the other guys didn't catch?! I mean, it's a no brainer to me. I would not recommend Matthew (HVAC service tech) or ARS for furnace maintenance. Also, btw, we received a substantially LOWER offer for 2 new furnaces from Burton and we don't even have a monthly service membership with them like we did with ARS! We've had really great experiences with the plumbing maintenance services provided by ARS, but this one bad experience that could have literally cost us thousands of dollars unnecessarily really out ways any other positives. Not planning to do any more business with ARS.

Robbed in my own house. Was quoted $280 for a small plumbing job, was charged $380. When I called to ask for an itemized receipt, I was told they don't do that. I will never use this company agaIn. Neither should you! Michelle in billing must get a commission on the scam jobs, because she was rude and not helpful at all.

My AC stopped working and Aksarben heating and air came to my home the day after I called them. After looking at my unit, the worker found 2 parts that were broken. The tech gave me the option for him to replace the parts or have another rep from the company come out to discuss an installation of an entire new AC unit. The rep said that he could replace the 2 parts but that wouldn't guarantee the unit would work. I felt he was trying to get me to spend even more money by buying a new unit rather than fix the one we have. He made up other ""potential problems"" like how we could have a freon leak or our compressor wouldn't work. We opted to fix just the 2 parts. They did the work and my AC now works. However, I found out later from a reputable company that I was charged double what normal price should be for the job. Also, my compressor and Freon levels are just fine, so I feel like he was trying to take advantage of someone who wouldn't know better. I also learned that Aksarben changes the names of the products/parts in order to confuse its clients and not allow them to look up the part online to see they are charging almost $400 for a part that costs $5. With paying double and feeling like the rep tries to talk you into spending more money than needed, I will never use this company again. After speaking with others about my experience, I have learned I'm not alone in Aksarben scamming people into paying way more money than was necessary.

I had a service scheduled with Aksarben ARS heating and air and they did something that I didn't really think companies did anymore. BAIT and SWITCH! They flat out lied to me. I scheduled a preventative maintenance for my a/c system because I was lead believe it was such a great deal. I had a PM scheduled with another company but the cost seemed somewhat excessive, so I thought I would shop around a little. Hence I called aksarben and I told them what I wanted and that I thought the other company was a little high. She said oh that's great because we have a special going for 69.95 which was roughly half as much as the other company. When the tech showed up ( finally) he said- "" I'm here to do the systems check"". I said SYSTEMS CHECK? Your supposed to be doing a preventative maintenance service, which involves cleaning the outside units, checking the cooling levels, cleaning the A coil etc. He said oh no that's an extra charge. If I would've had the service done that I expected to have done with aksarben it would've been way more expensive than the company I canceled my original service with. The tech was a very nice guy and it wasn't his fault, but what a shady way of doing business. Worst experience I've ever had with with an HVAC company. Also I did talk to their office and she put me on hold for about 7 minutes, just to have her come back and say that-that service costs extra. That's all she said, no offer of any compensation of any kind, not really even a real apology. I would caution you to make sure you know what your paying for before you even think of using this company. I was very clear on what service I wanted then they tried to pull a fast one. I would never ever recommend AKSARBEN ARS. Terribly disappointed. Poor poor business practice.

OMG! They came out to my house TWICE to fix water pouring out of the spigot that feeds my sprinkler system. And it's STILL not fixed. When I called today I was told they do not work on sprinkler systems! I said, ""That's odd because you've already been out twice to work on it."" Still no resolution.

RANTING AGAINST Aksarben Heating And Cooling
WHO ELSE HAS HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE
I Been battling with them for the past week over a 40gal $549 Reheem Water heater installed 3yrs ago now needs replacing they wrote up a contract for a total of $1890 with $1,345 for the installation offer a $175 discount ($1690)for this work rather than uses them again I by-pass them went to the manufacturer myself they are replacing it under the warranty free and someone else had installed it today for less than $200 I had a lot of work done through them that could have been major problems had I not had a neighbor that was a city inspector looking out for me Home Depot and the manufacturer both said the price wasn't right and Home Depot no longer has any one from there in their store
I gave them ""1"" goggle star and if possible I would make it a 0
