Had a all new system put in our house not even 3 years ago and have had nothing but problems with it. Costumer service is awful. It took 2 years to get the humidifier to finally work after they installed, it went to turn on our air condition on at the beginning of the week and it wouldn't work so we called and set up and appointment for Thursday 3-6 took off work early to be home and then get a phone call saying they can't make it and there's nothing they can do about it. I will be taking my business elsewhere. If I could give zero stars I would
Our 2001 furnace wasn't working. They told me that if I had someone come out and look they would apply the $87 charge I paid to the services done. They didn't. I was upset and called them. They said they ONLY applied the diagnostic and estimate trip if they put in a NEW furnace. I don't appreciate them not being clear. They could have told me when they were going to replace practically all of the parts at $3000+ that they would not be applying the $87.00. Then I could have made an informed decision and possibly called someone else. Still don't know what the part cost them. We got a list of parts +labor so not really clear when we got charged. Not really happy. Our old furnace that isn't probably energy efficient is still going after 29 years but the one he worked on was only 20. Appliances and furnaces are not built to last anymore. Such a shame for my kids.
Aksarben ARS came to my house for an annual tune-up. My heating system was working fine and we had good heating. When the technician was almost done, we heard a popping sound with a flash and my system was dead. Per the technician, the controller board was damaged due to that popping event. Now we are without heat. I am regretting the decision of why I did call for tune-up ! I am no electrician but I think the system was not put up well after it was opened for inspection. He said the event happened because the motor withdrew way too much power. How conveniently motor chose to do so !! Well, it had been working fine so far unless something was messed up during the process. Technician promised he would call me tomorrow. I will update my review after that call on the following stuff: if they take the financial responsibility of fixing the controller board, not charging me a service fee again, and how fast they fix the thing.
They will install all of the wrong systems and when they don't work, make you jump through hoops to ""fix"" the problem. They are not a reliable installer of HVAC or Heating. I would go somewhere else
While I would love to contact Michelle, it would be awesome if they returned phone calls. Feel like a ghost buster chasing ghosts.
AC went out and the tech refused to find the replacement part, only wanted to sell me a new unit. Finally, he agreed to even look for the part. They ordered it from Texas.
A week later (98 plus heat), the tech shows up to install the part and his equipment didn't work. He was at our house until 9pm, calling other employees for help. He left, no AC...
The next day, we had to practically beg to get another tech out that morning as we were miserable. It took that guy eight hours to figure out the problem... a tiny O-ring . $3,000 plus later
Unbelievable. They are only interested in selling you expensive equipment as opposed to actually fixing the problem. Ethically disgusting!
When I called to cancel our service contract, the CS representative laughed.
I would not use this company ever again. There service is terrible and the you can never get anyone in there office to respond to your request. On top of that they overcharged me by over $1000.
I contacted Home Depot on a Saturday that I needed an HVAC contractor. I ended up getting numerous phone calls from this company but different people and different phone numbers. I let unknown callers go to my answering machine. Altogether I got about a dozen calls in three days, including two shortly after 7am! I'm retired so they woke me up both days. I also got an email from them. Made me crazy. I won't do business with them because they seem so desperate. One phone call and/or email would have been sufficient.
Sue C.i bought a furnace, air conditioner and water heater in February. The first hot day of this year, May 9th, my AC did not work and it took me 6 phone calls to finally get someone to my house. And it was as simple as plugging it back in as it was unplugged on the install. very understandable since i would not be running my ac in February.
Also i was very overcharged on a plumbing repair about a month ago. Sewer drain back up took service man less than a half hour to unplug, and i was charged $395.00
They installed a new furnace and heat pump. When it started smelling like burning plastic I called them out to check on it. They arrived, took everything apart and could find nothing. Told me that it could be the new plenum burning off oil from manufacturing. I have smelled that in the past on other furnaces, but not burning plastic. Then they charged me for a service call. Don't waste your money with these frauds. No such thing as service after they get your money. When I told the technician that I would not use them again he began to laugh. Dean Olson, Papillion.
Drew R.Also I did talk to corporate and they thought the price was fine before I posted the original review.
