I have worked with Akian now for years and I have to say they are by far the friendliest, most considerate and competent people I have ever worked with in the home services industry. What a relief it is to have a team you can trust working on your home! The peace of mind alone is enough for me to want to post about them, I'm hoping this will reach others who might be in the position I was. In my experience it has always been such a nightmare finding reliable contractors/home service providers. I hope anyone who came on here looking to choose who to go with for plumbing/HVAC will save themselves the hassle and go with Akian. I can not recommend them enough!

Randy was very knowledgeable and efficient. He quickly diagnosed our somewhat complex issue (cracked pipe) and came up with a great solution. He then completed the job reasonably fast given the work that had to be done. I definitely recommend Akian.

I worked with James G to get my HVAC yearly maintenance done. He examined my outdoor and indoor units as well as the thermostat, and was able to identify a number of problems before they became catastrophic failures of the system. James was extremely positive during the whole process and laid out all the steps and answered my questions.

I love working with Akian because they always list out all the pricing options, what can be safely deferred or should be taken care of immediately, and are knowledgeable about all the systems they work on.

The only minor downside is that because they're so highly sought after, it can be a bit difficult to get scheduled in if it isn't an emergency. Even so, I highly recommend their services.

The plumber was on time, curteous, professional. He explained problems and offered 4 possible solutions with price for each. He completed the tasks in a timely manner and and explained everything very clearly.
My previus appt was delayed because they had an emergecy. I was upset because I had waited a week so they made the next day available and gave me a $50. discount.

I quoted them 1.5 year ago for a boiler replacement as new homeowner. Said boiler had high CO2. asked them if they do cleaning. They said cleaning might cause breakdown on entire boiler and leak CO2 so recommend replacmenet. Also quotes are like 50-70% higher than other place I got. Not recommend. Upsell uneducated homeowners.
