As a family-owned business, our roots trace back to 1968 with Lamar Aker as our first owner. I am the third owner, and we maintain the same foundational beliefs that have made Aker a trusted name in the Coldwater area for generations and will keep us a staple for years ahead!
Since 2007, I have worked as a service technician. I advanced to the role of National Service Manager with my last employer. In 2022, I realized that I could channel my passion for repairs into community service through Aker Plumbing & Heating. Evan showed up and was very professional and didn't leave until the job was finished. We thought we had one spot that burst but it turns out it was multiple spots. It was great service and I will recommend them to everyone I know.

I feel compelled to write this review today because yesterday, a Sunday, the pressure switch on our well pump failed and we were without water. In less than an hour after calling, Aker had a repairman at our house and a half hour later he had replaced the pressure switch and we again had water. Amazing! Thank you.
