My water heater went out, and I contacted AK. The first technician came out and got it started again. There wasn't a charge at all. I was shocked. Everyone else tried to charge me something like $95 in cash to come out and take a look. Then the heater really did break. I didn't call AK Plumbing back because I just decided to fire a text at the number from which they had texted me before to handle the logistics of the appointment. Guess what? Someone there at AK pays attention. They responded to my text and sent out Jason that day. There were some part issues, but he helped me get the parts I needed for my Rheem free of charge as it was under warranty. Rheem wanted to speak to the technician that did the diagnosis. That too was easy. Jason got in touch with them and followed through the whole way. There was a delay getting a part, but AK went above and beyond to find it somewhere else and have it shipped to my house the next day. These guys are THE BEST. They are sharp, their systems work, they are organized, say what they mean and mean what they say. The experience was efficient, fast, sensible, above board and overall excellent. I will never use another Plumber again. You shouldn't either.

A big THANK YOU to Matt from AK Plumbing! He fixed a leak under our kitchen sink and a shower that hasn't worked in 2 years! AK Plumbing responded quickly and was able to set an appointment that worked with our schedule. Matt showed up within the appointment window and was able to fix our issues quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend and use AK Plumbing again!

I'd like to leave a good review but I can't. AK was recommended to me by a plumber my contractor wanted to do the job. He came out to look at the job but couldn't do it within my time frame. He spoke to Matt about the scope of work and Matt quoted an estimated price range for the job.

The crew was very pleasant and cleaned up well. That's the good part. At the end of a long day I wrote a check for the high estimate.

The not-so-good part is they had to come back 3 times, to stop a leak on a washer box they installed, and some water stop-outs were left loose. When it was time to connect the drain to the sink my contractor found that the drain wasn't plumbed into the correct position despite the sink having been left in position to show Matt where it should be plumbed.

When Matt's guy came out he wanted an additional $545 to do what should have been done right in the first place. In the end the contractor did the work - took him less than an hour and with a negligible parts cost.

Early this morning i had a backed up sink and garbage disposal. Calling Matt super early. He responded quickly and gave me some times that they could help. The time i chose turned out to be a bad time. Calling his employee Edward and hoping I was still gonna be able to get this fixed, he was very accomodating and asked when was a good time for me!! Finally met him at the house and he fixed everything in less than 2 hours! He explained everything and fixed it just like he promised. I am so grateful to AK Plumbing for their consideration and ability to work with me. Highly recommend Matt and his crew for any help youre in need of. Very professional and helpful! Had a ice maker line come loose at night... I managed to get it down to a drip, they were out the next morning, found the shutoff in my condo garage and replaced the line and filter. Great job and friendly people.

Just wanted to let people know we had tenant call this morning about an issue I called AK they answered right away made arrangements to go help us asap Edward called to let us know he was on the way and got the job done quickly also cleaned the mess took pictures to show he cleaned it. I had a water leak coming out of my ceiling fan/light at 8:30pm and I knew it should be addressed right away. I called Ak and talked to a very pleasant lady who seemed empathetic to my situation, which was nice. In less than an hour Matt showed up and took care of the problem very efficiently and professionally. I can't recommend this company enough! I needed an inspection report for my insurance and Jason came out within 2 hours the same day. He was very honest and helpful. Even calling the office personnel was easy. They are very polite and efficient. I even received the report within minutes. Very attentive staff! Would definitely use AK Plumbing again.
