Called AJS to repair a few busted lawn sprinkler heads and generally give my system a tune-up - was not getting good coverage. They arrived 30 minutes early and were done within an hour - quickly found the problem with the leaking heads and improved the coverage, and replaced about a dozen heads on the back lawn and have much better coverage now. Fee seemed very reasonable considering the parts cost and an hour's work for two technicians.

So glad I found AJS Sprinkler. I had a very confusing situation where some existing drip irrigation had stopped working and the problem was not at all easy to figure out. Steve did a great job tracking down the problem and was able to fix it on the spot. They also were able to replace my lawn sprinkler heads to compensate for low water pressure and give better overall coverage. They were on time, very pleasant and carefully explained what they figured out so we'd know what to look for in the future. I was so happy they were able to fix things right away, so many companies make you wait weeks to get on their repair schedule. These guys know their stuff and don't just cobble together a solution, they find the root of the problem and fix it.

I had one circuit with very old sprinkler heads that would just barely pop up. I also recently had my water meter and main supply line replaced.

The main competitor (who I had worked with a few years ago) scheduled an appointment about three weeks out. AJS was able to come much quicker. With AJS's good reviews, I decided to give them a try.

With the clues that the water supply line had been replaced recently, Kenny (and then Steve) set out debugging my issue. They checked the pressure and flow on all the hose bibs and then they very quickly narrowed in on the valve at the water meter. Apparently, when the main supply line was replaced, the valve at the water meter was not turned on completely afterwards. Kenny and Steve saw this, twisted the valve to be completely on, checked that the sprinkler heads of the offending circuit popped up, and they were on their way with just a charge for a service call.

I highly recommend AJS. Besides knowing what they are doing, they are also very friendly. I am most likely going to switch to drought-tolerant landscaping and drip lines in the fall, and I will definitely call AJS to help me with the conversion.

I increased my rating, mainly since the company called me and discussed my case after seeing my yelp review. I think it is only fair to recognize that they did call me and obviously do care about customer service. They also offered to come and check out the issue I am having.

Their response to not answering calls during that time were also justified in my opinion.

my only objection is that the 3 sprinkler heads were working fine before they came; (they were turning on and opening); these 3 heads were constantly leaking; which they serviced; as they were leaving, I believe they knew there was a problem since as they were testing , one sprinkler head completely popped off; they quickly replaced that one but did not check the others as they were in hurry to leave. Now all three are not turning on and opening (this is a new problem that I did not have before they came); these are directly related to sprinklers they serviced and repaired. Bottom line is that instead of 3 leaking sprinklers, i have 3 non functioning sprinklers.

I have no problems with someone using AJS sprinkler as long as you clearly check to make sure the sprinklers are working after the work is done; that was my main problem, I didn't check until after they left; ( of course they were already in the truck leaving as they had me sign the paper work); also not answering their calls was hopefully resolved issue at this point

My sprinkler system was not working correctly. AJS Sprinklers (Steve and Co.) came out to fix it. They were on time. They fixed some sprinkler heads. They set my sprinkler box for me. Answered all of my question. They were wonderful ! I would recommend them to anyone. I will use them again if needed. Great experience. Thanks again Steve.

Great work, professional crew and competitive pricing. We hired AJs for a total redo of our backyard lawn and sprinkler system. Steve Loe arrived on time and provided a detailed appraisal for the work and ensured the work would be done on time and to our complete satisfaction. He and the crew took only two days for this project. They worked long hours through the hot Roseville sun, even into the late evening to get the job done. They cleaned up their equipment each day and even swept the area clean. We now have a beautiful lawn and new sprinkler system that is functional. We did need a small change with a sprinker head about one month later and Steve came over the same day I called him - very prompt. We highly recommend this company and we will use them again in the future.
