Ajax Plumbing Sewer & Drain Cleaning
Company Overview
We are San Antonio's regional plumbing materials source for residential and clients. Visit our store at 4511 West Commerce adjacent to Our Lady of the Lake University, and you will discover: We began in 1954 as a new construction company, before we transitioned into repair. Also, we run a retail location.
Noe chose to work in this sector after exploring several underdeveloped countries in his younger. He cultivated a strong respect for the domestic plumbing infrastructure that many overlook. Individuals usually are unaware how vital plumbing is until issues arise or the system is absent. After completing his undergraduate education and playing in collegiate football on a scholarship, he relocated to Houston to work for one of the biggest countrywide plumbing businesses that remains today. He rapidly became their best plumber and acquired a vast amount of expertise. His parent, also named Noe, was a tradesman by trade and a business owner. Noe feels his course in business was charted long before he made the intentional choice. He is happy today to remain serving patrons every day and assist them in solving plumbing problems.
Noe manages the firm with his daughter, Sarah, who contributes over 15 years of experience in business management and financial management to the team.

Buyer beware... Toby from Ajax's charged my wife 750 dollars to snake out the sewage drain and change out cheap toilet parts, used the wrong equipment for both. Taking complete advantage of our emergency situation while other plumber companies were not taking calls. The following day it was clogged again and had to be called back, this time William (different Ajax's plumber) came out, cleared the clog and ran a camera to insure it was clear. He didn't charge because he said we got over charged and spoke to the owner. ... now same issue and they have blown us off four times now ... even says on the receipt 30 day warranty... you've been warned.

Arrived a little later than expected, but installed our new water heater promptly and professionally. Better price than another online estimate. Masks worn and safe distancing observed.

Have hired Ajax before with pleasant techs and reasonable prices--until now. Tech John H tried to overcharge(& not very personable either). He did not get a signed estimate to approve price and was only a 30-minute job--he hinted it would be a big job? We talked him down to a lower price but still seemed unreasonable. I paid price and called owner to state dissatisfaction--was just sent a $75 Refund Check.

Have used them times. Always professional, and does a great job.
Prices are very reasonable, and will work with you on payments if necessary.
Have had a large job done, two small ones, and a new sink with fixtures and plumbing. I am very pleased with all the work they have done. I will continue to use them when I need plumbing work done.

I have had three different plumbers to fix my Moen faucet. They all told me they needed Moen parts and would return. No one returned. I called Ajax Plumbing (advice from Home Advisor) and they sent out Adolph. He fixed the Faucet in ten minutes and he also had the parts on his truck. The next time I have a plumbing problem I will call Ajax. They are the fastest and best trained!!! The price was also reasonable.

I am a remodeling contractor that was looking to add to my team. I had a project under construction, and another that was scheduled for approximately 3-4 weeks. I spoke to Tim on a Saturday, explained who we were and what we did, and asked if Ajax was interested in bidding my current job. We scheduled an appointment for the following Tuesday morning. I waited at the job for over an hour, but they never showed up. I called and Tim apologized, saying he did not know why the appt. disappeared from his calendar, but we rescheduled for the next morning.
I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt, as the appointment had been scheduled 4 days before, and on a weekend. So, on Wednesday morning, I met a technician at the property. Unfortunately, I can't remember the technician's name that came out, as he never gave me a card, but I do remember that he just looked at the items we covered and said "OK". He never wrote a thing down. Since he didn't make his own list, I said I would follow up with a Scope of Work, to assist him with accuracy in his bidding. I sent the information the next day. On Friday afternoon, I had heard nothing from anyone. I called and spoke to Tim. He apologized for the delay and said they were working on it and would have it for me by the end of the evening. He even called me back to ask a question. However, I never received the bid. On the following Tuesday, I decided to give them one more opportunity to explain, before I wrote this review. All Tim could tell me was that my job ended up being to extensive for them to handle. I asked why I was never given the courtesy of a follow up phone call or email being notified of that. AGAIN Tim apologized. He did say he sent me an email, then admitted that he sent it to the wrong customer, which is why I never received it.
Tim was very apologetic, multiple times, and was very pleasant how he handled the phone. However, it is obvious that these guys can only handle a clogged drain or stopped up toilet, not real plumbing work. They also only know how to deal with Mom and Pop homeowner and do not have the professionalism to work with professionals in the construction business.

I have had alright experiences with other plumbers but these are definitely the nicest and most helpful plumbers. They are very knowledgeable about what they are doing and make sure your problem gets fixed.
I had Adolph work on my bathtub and and he fixed the problem in a timely manner. He was also very good at explaining what was going on with everything and very thorough, making sure there wasn't any other underlying problems that previous plumbers ignored.
Very nice and professional plumbing service, will be using them again.

AmaInf service by Adolph, plumber and staff who set up appointment. Our entire line was clogged and we had three separate issues that were all fixed and less than an hour with professional and friendly service.

The owner is very knowledgeable and offers high customer service. I guarantee you won't find the level of service and dedication at any of the big home improvement stores that you will will find at Ajax plumbing. Do yourself a favor and visit this mom and pop shop. Aside from finding the specialty piping I was looking for, I got a cool mini history lesson on San Antonio.

The other day I need some plumbing parts...I started to go through my business cards...ran into the card my Daddy gave me 30 years ago when I need a plumbing part that I could not find any where. He took me to Ajax Plumbing Supply Company at 4511 W. Commerce St., San Antonio, TX 78237 & I met Noe Salinas who greeted my Daddy. When we were walking out my Daddy gave me the card...my Daddy passed on October 2017. When I need a plumber I know where to go, Daddy said they know plumbing, they are reasonable & they do not cheat you! I love that this an established business...going strong.
