Needed a new kitchen faucet and water filters (both provided by me) installed. I asked for a quote upfront but they would not even give me a range over the phone. I made an appointment with the understanding that there would be an $89 trip charge. The plumber looked over the project and quoted me over $1000 for this simple installation. He was surprised when I told him to leave. I then called my brother (who is an electrician - gasp!) and he installed everything in less than an hour. I do not recommend this plumbing company.

Called and asked for a quote to hook up a sink and toilet. They said they will not provide a quote but I could pay $89 to have someone come out to give me a quote. I offered to send pictures of the very straight forward job and they said no quotes without paying $89 for a trip charge. Definitely scammy. If they came out and quoted a ridiculous rate, I would still owe the $89 so basically they can go around collecting trip charge fees. As the consumer you are completely blind to what their fees are unless you pay $89.

Needed a simple 30$ part replaced in my single handle shower faucet. I ended up being charged 90$ just for a plumber to sho up and tell me they wanted almost 500$ to replace the 30$ part which would not have taken longer than an hour. These guys are an absolute skam.

They helped fix an irrigation pipe and valve - excellent work and responsiveness and could have just recommended replacing the unit in its entirety- they walked through steps and completed repair without replacement and saved me some $$. Will happily use them again due to this approach. Very appreciative of good trade skill and just good people.

They are close and convenient, and I've successfully used their services, from a new water heater to a few faucet leaks. I've used other plumbers also; none are inexpensive.

Unfortunately I had two bad experiences in the last year with AJ Alberts. The first was when I asked them to set a toilet for me and connect a sink. They had changed their pricing model from fix price to time-based and after two hours, I was $500 poorer and still had to do some rework because the quality was just so so.

Today I realized that some work they did in our brand new kitchen was falling apart after about 18 months and called to get help. Unfortunately, I was told that first they would be too busy and second they don't guarantee their work beyond one year. I expect better customer service for the high prices they are taking. Just imagine a leaky pipe in an area you don't look very often and the response you get is just: ""Well, bad luck for you customer!""

We wanted to install a new toilet in our bathroom, but the toilet we bought didn't fully cover the floor opening of the old toilet. We thought we were going to have to redo the floor tile, but Matt was able to search for us to find an alternative toilet that had the right measurements to cover the hole. This saved us a lot of money, and I appreciate his willingness to help us, and problem-solve!

I recently purchased my first home and the water heater was making a ticking sound and was not working (It was very old). I called A.J. Alberts plumbing and they sent someone out who was very helpful and did a great job installing a new water heater quickly. From the customer service to the product, it was 5 stars all around. They have since installed new toilets and sinks in my house and I will call them for all of my future plumbing needs!
