We have used Airworks for our HVAC needs for the past several years. Recently, they have added plumbing diagnostics and services to their business portfolio. We needed to fix the toilet in our master bath. Art, the plumbing technician, came out and did a thorough assessment of our plumbing needs. The initial inspection was free of charge. We scheduled an appointment with Art to fix our toilet situation & a leaky pipe under our kitchen sink. He was polite and professional! The job went quickly and the prices we were quoted were very reasonable and fair. Good Job, Art!

Buyer Beware! Be sure to ask for itemized estimate BEFORE you sign.

Yes, the tech was extremely professional, friendly and helpful when he came to replace my thermostat. He suggested that I also replace my hot surface ignitor. The estimate was $600. I agreed. without seeing a breakdown of the costs. It took one hour total for thermostat and ignitor replacement.

After the tech left I started thinking. Why 600 dollars? Was this an expensive part? I researched online. Hot surface ignitors are about $75.
I asked for an itemized breakdown of invoice, including cost of parts. Here is the response that I received: "" As a service company, we practice lump sum billing as we don't sell parts or equipment on its own. This enables us to save you money on additional sales tax and bundle services,, creating economies of scale""

Could someone explain to me how paying $600 to install a $75 part in one hour is saving me money ?

Wow really appreciated the professionalism on booking, and keeping us informed on our service request status for when the tech would be here! Our heater had an intermittent problem that was hard to find but he totally fixed it, and also cleaned our filters on our min-split while he was there, definitely spent plenty of time here, worth the price! Then my neighbor saw him and now he is working on something over there. Would definitely hire again!

We purchased our Heat Pump etc. from Air Works about 18 months ago. It works great. Had a little glitch though that needed looking at. Sam came out right away. Identified the problem, ordered the part. Solved. We also had a detailed conversation about how the unit works, and how to practice perfect upkeep. Sam is great. So is Air Works. Very happy.

This is the third time we've used Airworks. They always respond fast, and their technicians are friendly, professional, and explain things till we're satisfied we understand the issue. They're tidy too!

This time Sam fixed our old-fashioned floor heater with minimal fuss - a lever wasn't moving all the way into position, so the heat wouldn't kick on. Though he did recommend other heating options for our home, he didn't push. We'll be thinking on it for the future when we can afford it. Either way, we'll be calling Airworks whenever we need HVAC services again.
