Recommended Customer Reviews
I want to be fair in this review, and I'm gonna do my best, but -- Being fair kinda went out the window, when this trade unnecessarily retaliated against my family with our home warranty company. These folks were called out to our home for a leaking shower pan. That's all. It was not quantum physics, not rocket science, etc. Just plain ol' water and gravity conspiring together to find a weak point that, then, impacted the ceiling below in our basement. But, while this trade's technician NEVER pulled a scope from his bag to keep things minimally-invasive and NEVER went equally as invasive as to remove even just a small square of drywall from the basement's ceiling to actually inspect the drain, he took the (very) low road and -- He submitted his expert opinion to our home warranty company that our plumbing system was installed incorrectly, which effectively nullified and, thereby, voided ALL future plumbing claims for our home. Lemme repeat: ALL future plumbing claims for our home. That was not only completely unnecessary, but it was also overkill -- and very, very unprofessional. BTW, this technician's expert opinion on how to stop the leak??? Completely remove the caulking we had placed between the shower wall and shower pan to prevent water from getting into this area -- and leaking onto the floor. In the end, we found a more-experienced (And, yes, more-expensive.) plumber; however, he also removed some basement ceiling drywall and found that the drain had failed, rather cracked, which allowed water to leak onto the basement's ceiling. This, naturally, could have been addressed by this company and, then, covered under our home warranty, IF this company's technician had taken the time to conduct a thorough assessment. Instead, we needed to file a claim under our home insurance and, then, completely abandon our home warranty company with, again, the technician's retaliatory verbiage nullifying and voiding all future plumbing claims. SMH. These folks will never get any of our business, nor a positive in-person review.
